Cafe Zippy

This is a really nice place. They are charged .35 cents per card transaction, and they give you the option to pay it which is nice (but most places don't charge a fee if your total is over $5 and mine was $16... I don't know...) I like their mixed plates and dishes, gives it that home feeling. The furniture inside and out is really nice and homey also. I had the roast beef wrap and organic Mango drink. The drink was awesome. The wrap was really good and everything they put on it tasted so well together. The only reason I gave 4 stars is because there was so little roast beef. I'd say it only made up 1/8 of the wrap. They should add another slice because in my opinion meat should make up at least 1/4 of the wrap. Now I don't think there's a thing called "too much cheese" but some people might say they put too much shredded sharp cheddar. Over all I would still come back here to try other dishes although it is a bit on the pricey side. But that's to be expected considering the neighborhood its in and their usual clientele.

Walking into the cafe, it was pleasing to the eye. The atmosphere and vibe was unique. The owner was very nice and helpful. So everything was going great in the beginning. After my sisters and I finished this bowl of food, the owner took it away and offered our bowl of leftovers to this dog that was sitting on the couch. The dog sniffed it and began licking off of it right in front of our eyes!! I don't know about anybody else, but that was truly disgusting and completely unsanitary!! To think that our foods are placed in plates that dogs have licked off of. Sure they get washed, but this is a public cafe! Do so in your own home.

Cute little neighborhood coffee shop! Solid latte, the environment was perfect. Couple near me having a nice chat, couple of people studying/working on laptops. Great place to unwind and relax.

Our first visit was excellent! A must if you are on a gluten free diet or vegan diet. They even have quite a few raw vegan options to choose from. Huge array of vegan gluten free baked goods as well. Strongly recommend visiting on an event night. Venue has strong communal embaince. Staff was extremely courteous and friendly.

Their grasshopper smoothie & their cheesecake is amazing. I love what they are going for and the vegan and raw vegan options but....the prices are high, they are usually out of ingredients, their needs to be more bright colors/a more uplifting environment, more flavor, and less plastic/waste. Everything seems to be plastic wrapped! I usually come here when cafe wylde is closed or when I crave their smoothie. If these things changed I would come more often!
