California Market

Rude. Just about everyone had your rudeship attitude. Well not everyone but all the Koreans that I came in contact with. The management needs to either train or educate their employees better. Even one star is too good for them.

California market place has all your essential grocery needs. They also have a various amount of Korean/Oriental products. Attached to the inside of the building, they also have a coffee bean, double plus for them.

It's a cool spot. It's a grocery store with a min restaurant in the back, a Coffee Bean and Tous Les Jour bakery. Everything you need in one place. Good selection of various items from beer, groceries, kitchen appliances, etc. Very eclectic and good place to spend the day. There is a parking structure.

Just experienced racism while leaving the store. After shopping from ralphs, I realized I forgot some foil so I went in with my groceries. (1 bag) After deciding not to buy the expensive foil. I was stopped by security. Scrutinizing me on my bag. I immediately said no. He continued to question me. I said this is my bag and everything in it. As long as I've come here, I've never had a problem. He enforced that I leave my bags at the counter next time. "Next time?" There will be no next time! You have lost me as a customer. No other grocery does this. After confronting him on it a second time I went to the manager and she apologized. However, some apologies are just a little too late. Good evidence!!!

This is my favorite groceries store in LA. Great prices and fresh ingredients :) especially if you like korean food! The Tous les Jours is also great for breakfast items and birthday cakes.
