MICE AND MORE MICE THAT MY CAT CAN'T KEEP UP.. PACKAGES STOLEN EVEN THOUGH THEY HAVE CAMERAS LIKE FT.KNOX, FIRE ALARM GOING OFF EVERY MINUTE AND MUCH MORE. SMFH DON'T BELIEVE ME? MOVE IN YOU'LL FIND OUT QUICK.
I have the typical story, was attending Drexel and moved there because it is convenient. The tenants are mainly other college students/ early-mid 20's people. This place has a lot of pluses and minuses. Pluses: -They are lenient on pets. You do not have to pay extra to have animals and they allow dogs and cats, which can be rare for apartments and complexes. - Fairly affordable housing and close to campus. - Management & Maintenance is generally on top of things, they keep the building maintained and clean for the most part. Cons: - This is my biggest pet peeve... The Fire Alarm would spontaneously go off ALL the time without warning! It's like 200 decibals, it is happens so often no one leaves the building!!! - While maintenance was generally on top of things, they'll come to bother you at inconvenient times. I'd prefer if things were scheduled. - No ELEVATORS! I didn't know such ableist buildings still existed. *Also, the annoying kids across the street blast their music at literally any time of the night, I listed it because it is an issue but it isn't necessarily Camelot Apartment's fault. Like I said, it isn't luxury living, but if you just need a place to stay for a minimum of a year, which is decent and not too pricey Camelot does the trick.
The steps are a work out, The bldge was quiet while I was there, visit Is there any bugs? Or mice? Do people have things come up missing? Like mail, or packages? Are there ever any break ins? Are the people inside the bldge. Loud? Does the fire alarm still go off? Randomly??? Ohhhh GOD NO!!
As a student at drexel i appreciate the location to campus, the reasonable price for University City, and the management is excellent. If you ever have a problem which i rarely do they are on it within 24 hours. I would highly recommend The Camelot looking a quality and affordable place to live.
I've been living here for 5 months and really like it. The convenience is great for my commute to Uppen. 30th Street is only a few minutes away. Management when needed has been always on the ball.
Great location and excellent management. I would highly recommend the Camelot Apartments if in need of an affordable, quality apartment close to downtown and universities.
Roaches, mice, terrible and inappropriate management
Roaches, mice, bedbugs, stolen packages are the norm here.
