Camp Bow Wow - West Warwick

Camp Bow Wow has proven to be the best kennel for boarding we have ever used. The staff is dedicated, friendly, and responsive with any request. The facility is consistently clean and the care for our dogs are top notch. During a recent storm our two dogs were being boarded, thoughts of can the staff get in?, what if they lose power? etc. The staff was on schedule and the facility is equipped with a generator. We love our dogs and Camp Bow Wow makes puts our mind to ease knowing they are being well cared for. The camera access in the play yards and suites are great!

I've never written a Google Review of anything before, but Camp Bow Wow has been such an incredible experience for my rescue dog, Schuyler, that I had to let the whole world know! I adopted Schuyler (pronounced "Sky-ler") four months ago from a PA rescue, and she was the shyest dog I'd ever experienced. It took her a full 24 hours to potty, eat, or drink after I brought her home, and the first two days I had her, the only way to get her out of her crate for anything (like to potty) was to crawl in the crate, attach a choke collar (so she wouldn't slip out--so was so balled up in the back there was no way I'd be able to get a harness on), and literally drag her out. Her tail was always between her legs, and she shook when she was out in public. I never thought she'd be able to survive an environment like daycare (especially since she has a heart condition, now managed by excellent medication to make the experience safe for her), but when I was going out of town on a day trip, I figured I'd give a trial day at Camp Bow Wow a shot before boarding her at the vet. Without a doubt, Camp Bow Wow is the best decision I've made since adopting Schuyler! The staff were extremely responsive and considerate of Schuyler's needs, and watching her interview through the cameras from the lobby gave me such peace of mind that I would be able to leave her for a few hours. I also checked in on her throughout the day from the Camp Bow Wow website and app, and every time I checked in, she was contentedly following the "counselor" who was supervising her play area. She spent very little time hiding in corners, against walls, or under things (like she literally ALWAYS does when in any other new place), and even took it upon herself to engage with both the other dogs and the staff! As I am sitting here writing this after picking Schuyler up following my day trip, I have a totally conked out, snoring, happy pup. I was certainly skeptical of daycare-type services before trying Camp Bow Wow, but now I am a total believer in how much an impact safe, caring environments with professional supervision can have on dogs when given the chance. Thank you, Camp Bow Wow! Schuyler and I can't wait to see you again!

We have only been coming a short time but the staff is fantastic. They remembered my pup's name after only one visit. They are always so welcoming and patient. Riley loves to come here and I feel totally comfortable leaving her with the staff. Thank you guys/gals for being so awesome!

We love Camp Bow Wow! Our dog, Watson, goes there for daycare, grooming, and occasionally boarding. He has a blast every single time we go and is so tired when he comes home that he sleeps until the next day. All we have to do is say the word "camp" and he starts freaking out. Everyone who works there is extremely kind and you can really tell they love dogs. The groomer always does an excellent job and our dog comes home looking and smelling great (with a cute bandana)!

Let me start off by saying I was VERY impressed with this place! They offer free access to cameras as each play area both indoor and outdoor. Also for each private suite you can watch your dogs 24/7. The facility is very clean and temperature controlled which I found very impressive! I saw them mopping up the play area of just one area 4 times just randomly checking the camera! Clearly that speaks to the cleanliness and the fact they make it a priority to keep things clean. They watch over the dogs carefully and and trained to do so which leaves peace of mind to me. We look forward to boarding Buddy for his first time there! Thank you very much for a well run place. That is a rarity these days for a place compared to yours! Great job!
