Canal House Cafe

I was referred to this spot by a local, and wow did it deliver. Delicious, fresh food in a quaint, rustic atmosphere. The staff was friendly and very helpful. I've already recommended this restaurant to all of my friends and family anytime they're in Harpers Ferry. It's a short drive out from the downtown area, and is not as cluttered or tourist-y as the downtown part. I will definitely be back to the Canal House and am eager to have their food again!

Excellent food in a beautiful setting - I particularly liked the ramp soup at the mother's day dinner, but what really stood out was the service. The chef even came out and offered tables seconds of soup as they were closing for the night and had leftovers! We'll be coming back

My husband and I love to find restaurants with locally sourced food, and the Canal House did not disappoint. I had the grass fed beef chili and a side salad and my husband had the mac and cheese with sausage. Everything was delicious and fresh, and honestly, probably the best mac and cheese I have ever had. The service was great, the food was amazing, definitely a five star choice.

Just amazing food and service here. A great getaway from the city. Highly recommended! They also serve gluten free bread for their sandwiches!
