Vintage | Restaurant and Wine Bar

Brought 4 guests to dine at the normally well rated Vintage restaurant. We all ordered menu items. They brought our salads at the 1 hour, 15 minute mark, no crackers or bread... Finally, 1/2 hour later, we asked them to bring any servings that were ready at the time. Strangely, all the food happened to show up then. The food quality was satisfactory except for the trout which was so dry, it was almost inedible. Basically, service sucked! For the prices they charge, overall, the meal was unsatisfactory. Next time we take guests to dinner we'll go to the 1863, Mama Mia's, maybe Dukes, or out of town. Overall, I was quite embarrassed, no thanks to the Vintage.

Decor is beautiful, food terrible. With a party of 7. Took well over an hour to get food. Trout was overcooked, dry. The guys liked the stroganoff, I thought it tasted like Hamburger helper. Did not get bread til just before food was served. Waitress did her job but couldn't make up for all the flaws.

After a long day in wv trying to find real food with little success we happened upon Elkins.. it was such a relief to find a restaurant that used local food and cooked from scratch. I had the stroganoff which was really good! The meat was cooked well and I liked the sauce. We split a tiramisu which was also pretty good. The atmosphere was cozy and welcoming. I highly recommend it. Only downside was that the price point was a little more than I wanted to spend.

Mediocre at best.... went for Dinner with wife, sister and brother-in-law. Limited, expensive Menu...food not worth the price. Have been there several times for Italian night which this wasn't. I do love the lasagna, but My wife eats gluten free and Come to find out she was getting Sick because she was getting GF pasta but the meatballs weren't Gluten free

Great food and service! We had the ribeye, chicken wings ( chipotle honey) and the antipasto platter. More food than we could put down. All delicious and reasonably priced! Highly recommended!!!
