Candyality

So I was buying $78+ in candy. I had exact change using a $50 bill, a $20 bill...... I was told by the cashier that I couldn't pay using a $50 bill. Really? I'm buying MORE than $50 in candy. I get it if you are using a large bill to pay for a small amount, but not when the bill covers the entire purchase. This might be the last time I go there. Margie's Candies and Fannie May will gladly take my $50.

Lots of favorites to choose from. We went in specifically for Champagne Gummy Bears. While all the other items we picked seemed soft and fresh, the champagne gummies were hard/stiff. Staff was very pleasant despite us going in 15 min before close.

I mean, candy! What's not ta like?? It's cool that that even carry the more "vintage" stuff from when I was kid. Fun shop!

Friendly staff with a considerable selection for such a small shop. I've been told (and I hope it's true), that Music Box is cool with people purchasing candy here and bringing it into the theater, which means you can fill a bag with a custom assortment of candy before your movie. That's a lot more fun and satisfying than just purchasing a box of one kind of candy from the limited selection most theaters have.
