This is a chocolate shop selling various kinds of chocolate, drink and small food. So it has something special compared to other cafes, but it is not special about taste, service and comfort. First, the taste is normal. There are various menus, but people choose limited. I do not recommend anything other than chocolate, especially. Next, the service is too common. Finally, the place is too narrow and the indoor is hot. Many people choose outdoor, but it is difficult to get services. In other words, it's a good place if you take your chocolate, but it's too bad to stay here.

Cute chocolate shop right off Magnificent Mile. They have delicious hot chocolates. If you are wanting one that isn't too sweet yet packs that chocolate punch go with their Triple Chocolate. It has Dark, Milk and White Chocolate. Their good also looked great. Sweet little spot for a quick morning bite or even afternoon snack.

I was disappointed. It was mostly candies, mostly the kind you can find pretty much anywhere. Nothing really stood out as amazing. Granted, I was also there when they were in the middle of moving out Christmas decor and moving in Valentines stuff so the place was a disaster and probably not normally like that, but shouldn't you take that into consideration? It was 1pm on a Friday. Seems like they could've done some of that on a day when they were closed.

Leonidas is a fantastic Belgian chocolate company. After research before my trip to Brussels in Belgium, I found the three best/main chocolatiers were Neuhaus, Leonidas, and Godiva. In my opinion, their quality were also in that order (all good however). To my delight, I found a location in Chicago, as they are not so common in the US. This particular location was nice, it had a small café where you can sit and enjoy the treats you just bought, which I haven't seen at all I'm Brussels or the Neuhaus I found in DC. This location also had gelato, and the workers were very friendly- offering to make a milkshake per my request even though it was off the menu. However, I changed my mind to the extreme dark hot chocolate (made with several scoops of their dark chocolate milk, some powder and milk) which was delightful, thick, and very rich, just how it should be.

Leonidas Cafe was an incredible experience. It does great justice to the magical experience of walking into a chocolate shop. I ordered the three egg omelette with turkey, Brie and mushrooms, which was excellent. It's a good idea to balance the sweet dishes with a savory dish if you come!!
