Cape Ann Camp Site

It’s an ok place to camp. The campground is not kept up with well. Bath houses offer the bare necessities. Although clean, they are nothing to write about. The little store has minimal supplies. You are better off taking a 15 minute ride to the Market Basket. Also, if you have a bigger rig, the roads are very narrow with trees and rocks that are a bit tricky to navigate. The sites are not maintained so you have to pick up tree branches and leaves. All the employees are very friendly! We did have a lot of fun besides the things mentioned.

I know it's the off season and no one is really camping right now, but I drove through the site and have no idea how I would ever get my camper into 95% of the available spots. On top of that, all spots seem to be right on top of eachother and not a single one was even close to level. I usually camp at state parks, so maybe I'm expecting too much, but for the price here, I expect more than is offered.

We enjoyed our stay at Cape Ann Campground. The sites are nice. We had full hookups. The sites maybe a little hard to get into for newbies but the campground employees are very helpful. Each time I went to the office they had advice on what to see and where to go. We found this site to be very easy to use as our home base while visiting Boston & Salem.

Expensive for what it is. On the side of a hill. Hard to get into spaces. No cable, little to no tv signal. No Sat signal. Small curvy roads in area. Campground not well-maintained. Hookups in odd places.
