Great location, in proximity of the cape and next to Myles Standish state park, Thomas land and convenient stores. Shady Acres is not a resort camp ground and it is not for the young party crowd. Families looking for a local camping trip I would reccomend it. The bathroom was clean and free showers were fairly new and steaming hot! Pool was a bit dated but clean and not over crowded. 2 pools in 1 space. A full size pool and a 1 foot deep pool for little ones. Free mini golf and fishing. Bass,pickerel , sun fish and cat fish all in the 7 acre pond. Store closes early but the staff is nice.

Shady acres campground is the absolute best. The owners are great very caring compassionate people. The people at Shady acres are also great super friendly and are always willing to lend a hand. Every weekend shady acres holds events for kids and adults, And on Halloween they do their famous spooky trail I give them a 10 star out of five

Owner were accommodating to our requirements. Family oriented. Decent size sites. Good fishing. Good time had.

It's was way overpriced for parking in a treeless lot with a very long hike to the one building with the showers/bathrooms up in the nicer shaded part of the park. Had I known what I was getting was just a newly graded area without a single tree within 100 yards I would have stayed somewhere else. Should have google satellite viewed it beforehand. Until they get some improvements it should have been a $40 a night not $80.

Can't say enough good things about this campground. We are seasonal and find it quite enjoyable. Great park for the kids. Activities are run regularly for both kids and adults, and each weekend has a different theme. Have a great time catching fish in the private pond, and catching rays up at the pool deck. There is a fill size pool and a baby pool for the little ones. Management is absolutely wonderful! I could go on and on...
