Gateway to Cape Cod RV Campground

CAMPERS BE AWARE OF THEIR RIP OFF REFUND POLICY!!!!!!! When I arrived last week and checked in I told the clerk that I was not certain how many nights I would be staying - either 6 or 7 nights. She advised me that since it was their off season (only about 1/3 sites were occupied) that I could just go ahead and charge 7 nights and that if I left earlier that they would refund the nights I didn’t use. Fine -I charged 7 nights on my credit card. Went to check out one day early and was told that they would refund $4.00 back to my credit card. WAIT A MINUTE!!!!!! At check in I was told that they would refund any unused nights. Then they told me the refund is the $4.00 per day resort fee that they charge daily NOT the daily site fee that they charge. It gets even better....... The$4.00 credit has never been posted to my credit card. In all my years of RVING I have NEVER had a campground pull a rip-off like this one!!!!!!TOTALLY UNACCEPTABLE!!!!!!!!!

Very peaceful. No loud people and the staff makes you feel like your home. Extremely friendly place to be.

I stayed with some friends for a birthday weekend and have very mixed reviews. There is no life guard at the pool. Several adults were gathered outside the pool area smoking right near my children. When I went to complain to the manager, I found out it was the manager out there smoking with other campers. Not very professional if you ask me. The man who runs the snack bar is rude and disgusting and should be reported to the Board of Health. He never washed his hands when coming in from a cigarette brake. He was wearing flip-flops while cooking and his feet looked like he hadn't showered all summer. I wish I had gotten his name to place a formal complaint. Alice and Echo who ran the kids crafts where great with the little ones. The kids loved tie-dying, the DJ dance party and the giant baseball game.

Its a great locarion. So scenic. Friendly people too.
