Cape Fear Valley Ob/Gyn

They always want my wife to check in 15 minutes before or scheduled appointment but won't even see us until an hour and a half to two hours after our scheduled appointment. They don't know what they're doing, they can never stick my wife one time for blood work. They have to either try several different places or switch nurses. It's just an overall experience. Only good thing is a few selective doctors are "friendly", other than that, unpleased experience.

Not impressed. I had an appointment and came fifteen minutes early. It is one hour from my appointment time and I still have yet to be called by a nurse. The staff so far appears lackadaisical and ambivalent at best. The appearance of the waiting room also leaves much to be desired - a bunch of missing tiles and a not so clean floor makes me nervous. I think I'll try a new ob.

I’m a current patient of this office, and my experience so far hasn’t been to great. My first time there was awesome! I saw Dr. Sparzek and he was unbelievably amazing! But since then I haven’t gotten to see him due to him only working there part time. (He works at the hospital most of the time.) But anywho since then my records have been lost twice, and the nurse practitioners/ doctors I’ve seen since then have been really rude. Usually when I go they check the baby’s heartbeat with a fetal Doppler, and when I went the last time the nurse practitioner (I don’t know her name she was younger with blonde hair and skinny.) and a medical student (I wasn’t asked if I felt comfortable with a medical student doing anything.) were about to check the heart beat and the nurse says “Well we might not be able to hear the heartbeat with this since she’s so big.” I was floored! I told her they were able to hear it the last time with no problems. With that being said I wish I could change doctors idk if I can or not due to Medicaid but I will certainly try to! The only thing I don’t have a problem with is the front desk! The ladies working there are very welcoming and friendly.

If it was not for a particular doctor in the facility being observant and taking the necessary tests to find out steps I needed to take, I would possibly just be recommended birth control and sent on my way. Thank you for giving me more years to live and being a concerned and caring doctor.

Worst experience ever. The staff literally forgot about me in one of the exam rooms where I was stuck for over two hours waiting. Not to mention the 1 hour you will sit in the waiting room after your appointment time to be seen. You Will never see the same doctor your just always tossed around to whoever decided to show up that day. By far the worst experience I’ve ever had in the health care field.
