Capitol Cafe & Salad Bar

Restaurant was small and cozy. We had a table by the window in front of the bar. The wait staff was great, although we didn't speak any French they spoke English to us. The food and drinks were really good. Don't remember the name of my drink but it was a cocktail and had mint leaves, sooo good. My entre, I don't remember the name but it was lamb rice and some kind of sauce, it was recommended to me by the waiter and it was really good as well. If I'm ever back in Paris, France I will visit this restaurant again.

Was so hungry and tired so didn't want to make a fuss then about the curt service from the waitresses and my burnt entree but I drew the line when I wanted to take out my chocolate cake with ice cream and they just dropped literally the container on my table with just a small chocolate cake in it without the ice cream. Maybe they think I might not like my ice cream melting? I don't know but they should have asked me coz I was staying a close distance from the cafe.

Friendly staff, good place for a drink. Too bad that it was a bit noisy on the terrasse with cars. Ordered a salmon poke bowl, food was okay!

Chance upon this restaurant for brunch/lunch. It is located close to the train station. Only ordered 1 main Pasta and a cup of Coffee, still felt welcome.

Enjoyed breakfast with my family. Plenty of choices, all executed well. The baguette and croissants were delicious.
