Capitol Theatre & Cafe

Food is alright. I think it's pretty neat that you can take it into the theater and eat it at actual tables. Unfortunately, there was a HORRIBLE smell in the theater where the tables sit and you're meant to eat food. Eating food is hard when the smell of soured milk/urine is entering your nostrils. The theater screen is pretty small. The woman who took my order was helpful, but not overly nice or welcoming. Their movie selection isn't the greatest for my taste (I'm glad they played Ready Player One though, because that's what I went to see and it was great) so it's doubtful I will be back. Having a theater you can eat in is such a great idea - I just wish they'd spruce the place up at bit. The theater itself is humid, musty, smelly, and shabby. The cafe though is adorable. Overall, I was unimpressed. I really wanted to like this place because it seemed neat, but the forty minute drive it took me to get there isn't worth it.

First timer today.. Took a group of 8 over for lunch and a movie... What a good time we had. They had a full service cafe and hand dipped ice cream with a pretty good menu which includes some great hamburgers.. They had a jukebox In the middle of the floor... Playing the great songs from the 50"s and 60's... You can even eat your meal while watching the movie...and you can expect some friendly southern service.

A great experience! A movie in a small casual theater with a retro vibe. The food is fantastic; and beer too!

3-30-2018 My teenage girls went to see the early evening show of "You can only imagine" tonight. Bought tickets, stood in line, and then found out the show was OVER SOLD. When the girls asked for a refund the theater would NOT give them their money back , but said to "come back tomorrow night". Another girl that was in the group said this was the second time she had been turned away with a ticket she had bought days earlier. This is completely a dishonest business practice, and I believe taking advantage of young ladies.

Very nice restaurant, very generous food portions. Friendly staff Worth the visit.
