I will definitely go back. Best customer service I've ever experienced. The guy that helped me was extremely friendly. We shared a bunch of laughs. I got a beautiful, safe, and reliable car. My husband will also come back here so that when it's time for an upgrade for him he can get one with no problem.
Compared to a traditional car dealership, CarMax is great. No hidden fees, everything is very transparent from the beginning. Specifically for this location, the salesman were always very knowledgeable and helpful, without being pushy on anything. I came multiple times to test drive a car that I had on reserve but was unsure about purchasing, and each time I was welcomed and never felt like a burden, never was pressured into purchasing it. When I did come in to purchase, the whole process was very quick I did an express pick up. At CarMAx, you're probably not going to find the newest, sleekest, sexiest car, but you'll find a reliable, good quality car at a fair price and that is what was important to me.
Drove from Virginia to Kentucky for this ride. Service was great when we got there and even after we left. We left the dealership to charge the car up before heading back. As it was charging we went next door to use the restroom. While we were gone someone was nice enough to slice our back tire with a razor blade. Called CarMax and they had a tow truck come, paid for an Uber, put us in a hotel for the night, and put new tires all the way around the car. Then did a complete inspection to make sure nothing else happened. When we got back to Virginia they called to make sure everything was okay and that we had no other issues. Our sales rep was John and would go to him again.
Hands down the best and easiest car buying experience I’ve ever had. They had the car shipped to Louisville and ready to test drive within a few days. Derek was a great salesman to work with and I was out the door with the keys in about an hour. Highly recommend!
Here we are, I’ve sold 3 cars to Carmax and I’ve bought 3 cars from Carmax. My latest purchase is a 2017 Fiat 124 Spider. From sales to service I’ve been thrilled with the purchase. I’ve worked with Daniel & Zach in sales and I’ve worked with Sam and Kim in service. I absolutely refuse to buy anywhere else or have my car serviced anywhere else, I’m a 100% happy and LOYAL Carmax customer!
My experience with this location was good. But my niece and sisters experience wasn't so seamless depends on who you are working with during the buying process it can be a silky smooth transaction or good transaction with some bumps or a bad experience when dealing with certain staff it's all in their attitude. Kinda like Kentucky weather it can change on a dime. My suggestion is if you get bad vibes from your contact just leave come back a different time it's not worth dealing with lackluster employees who don't care to give you the great CarMax experience it can be.
The experience, people, and customer service at CarMax were wonderful. We remained in constant communication, my car was ready much sooner than projected. No pressure, no hassle, and a 7-day return option. I will definitely shop there again.
I can't say enough good things about CarMax. I have bought 4 vehicles from the Indianapolis store and decided to drive down to the Louisville store to look at something on a Sunday. They are always low pressure and super helpful. Today we worked with Carson and he was the best we have ever had. He gave us plenty of room to just look at the truck we wanted without bugging us for a decision. I highly recommend CarMax in general and if you have choices on associates definitely ask for Carson.
My overall buying experience was a good one. I found the vehicle I wanted online, and began the purchase process. I will say, around 95% of the process was painless and easy. There were a few hiccups along the way but not huge in any way. The worst part, was the long wait at the Louisville Store. Which is why I gave a 4 star instead of 5. My appointment was scheduled for 6:00 Pm, I didn’t get helped or receive my keys until about 9:15 PM. Other than that, I’m happy with my purchase. I got what I was promised for my trade. Very easy purchase. Maybe I’ll buy again one day!
Our salesman was Ruslan Batman. From the moment we met him he introduced himself and he was very nice and charismatic. He was not pushy at all and gave us great direction on how to find the cars that we wanted. He kept us well informed on everything through out the entire process. We were looking at Hondas and it just seemed we couldn’t find the right one that fit our needs. After consulting with Ruslan he found us the most perfect Toyota Camry on the lot. We fell in love with it immediately. If it wasn’t for him I don’t believe we would’ve found it. Through out the entire process he was very thorough, professional and made the transaction very easy and without headache. CarMax should be lucky for the employee that they have in Ruslan representing their company!
