Carmel At the Colony

I came to visit my sister that lives at Carmel. I just want to say that the office staff Karina, Sarah and Marie are so nice and professional. My sister had called in earlier to let them know that I was coming and that I would need to be able to have access to the apartment. Sarah was able to get me a key so that I didn’t have to wait in the office with my luggage. They are so kind and we’re so welcoming. The community is nice and clean. Her apartment is huge! She’s in a one bedroom is nice and spacious! The only down fall was it doesn’t have washer dryer. But the washer dryers on site are nice and easy to use. Visited my sister for 9 days and it was a blast. Oh and Maria! She was so kind! When you drive into the property every one is smiling and staff is always waving ! I really felt like I was in a little town. Loved it here can’t wait to visit her again.

Did not enjoy living here for the past year. Very overpriced for what little they offer. You pay all the utilities here PLUS $30 a month to “rent” the fridge. Only amenities are the pool and a very small gym. The grounds are well kept. The parking is good but I had major problems with other residents taking my spot. Lots of cockroaches and flys because the cow farms next door, often smells like cows. Never used my patio because of it. The laundry facilities break often and just don’t work very well. These don’t bother me much but it should be mentioned - lots of stray cats, pets, and kids. Just go elsewhere, it’s not worth the money.

I have lived here for a few years now. I am very disappointed on what it has become. The new management does not care for maintenance. The parking is always dirty. Water leaks everywhere and the water bills are equally among each complex. I have mold in my bathroom. They oil paint sinks and tubs that within time will peel. They use old parts to resolve your issue and become broken again and worsen the case. About 80% of the washers and dryer don’t work and they don’t care to fix. Yet I pay for an upgraded apartment and it has nothing on luxury

New management are lazy, takes days to get somthing fix, Its a battle to get somthing fixed for the price we pay shouldn't be. There grounds r well kept, but lets just say ur car will never be clean. There rent hikes every year bout 100-300. Dogs r never on a leash here at night. This place is nothing luxury.

Was driving by and saw these apartments. Really nice community and clean. My friend and I walked into the community to speak with someone to get pricing. We ended up taking a tour of the homes. The one bedroom home is large and spacious. Loved the home and the upgraded features. The only down fall is the price. It was a little over our budget. Sarah did let us know that if the price was to drop she will reach out. She was so kind and nice with our situation and explained to us exactly what we would need in order to apply. I really enjoyed the tour of this community hopefully we will be able to find a home here in future. Thank you for helping us!

DO NOT I REPEAT DO NOT MOVE HERE!!! This place is infested with ROACHES!!!! They will Send someone to treat it that just makes it worse. There are even dead roaches on the ground outside. They’re very unprofessional in the office. The manager who is never there will claim to know nothing of any complaints. They sent out letters to the residents to keep anything off of balcony but not worried about the roaches!!! Especially if you have elderly or children DO NOT MOVE HERE!!! Do yourself a favor and find something else. The rent is too expensive to be living with roaches!!!! NASTY NASTY NASTY PLACE!!!!

Inquired here about renting as I am helping look for a place for a family member, it is a nice property with nice apartments and Sarah was great at answering all of my questions, which were many! We would have liked to rent here but the prices were just a little too high for our budget; but we appreciated her friendliness and enthusiasm not often found at other properties.

After 25 years of being a homeowner, had to get an apartment while waiting for our house to be built. I rate Sarah 5 star plus plus. Excellent customer service, very responsive, helpful, accommodating, and listened to our needs. We haven't moved yet, so we don't know what to expect with our neighbors and the community, but knowing we have a responsive management team is quite reassuring. Thank you Sarah for the great work that you provide.

Finding a place to rent has been such a nightmare, but after being approved at Carmel at the Colony, Sarah went above and beyond to make sure that we were taken care of. From the little things like remembering to ask if my patio got enough light for my plants, to assisting with the online tools to get moved in, I couldn’t be happier with the services she provided. Thanks for making this moving experience as pain free as possible! We are very happy to find a new home here.

Marie was so helpful from the very beginning with my move in experience. She was very accommodating, fast to respond, and very professional.
