I had a number of issues with the school in my brief time as a student there. I had a staff member treat me very inappropriately and a health teacher who contributed significantly to the mental health issues I've had. There was a large culture of victim blaming and bigotry and I found that there was quite a bit of hypocrisy within the school, much that I would not describe as Christian.

I have both of my kids enrolled in CCS now and could not be happier with the quality education and Christ-centered worldview that my children are exposed to while they learn. My oldest has learning struggles and the teachers and staff have gone above and beyond to ensure that he receives the attention he needs in order to be successful in learning in the classroom. We are truly thankful for all who interact and play such an integral part of our kids' lives. Highly recommend this school.

My child has attended Carmel Christian School for 6 years, and is now a freshman in HS. We left another (smaller) private school because they did not offer quality academics and/or infrastructure, nor did they help or make any accommodations for my child's individual learning needs. We found all of this and more at CCS, all of the teachers and staff deeply care for the students' well-being as well as their academic and spiritual development. My littlest is a Kindergartener this year, and I could not be more excited for him to be starting his journey at CCS.

Carmel "Christian" School is run by a bunch of elitist snobs that hide behind a façade of Christianity and prayer, whose only true concern is test scores. If you have a child with mild-to-moderate learning disabilities/special needs, do NOT apply there! If your child has the slightest potential of bringing down their test scores in any way, they will turn you away, and keep the exorbitant application fee in the process. If you are looking for a school that truly cares about the children, that will nurture them, and lead them to be more Christ-like, I urge you to pray about it, because God will lead you somewhere besides Carmel "Christian". If my words seem harsh, and not very Christian-like, it is only because I am trying to save others from making the same mistake I did by applying here. There are MUCH better options out there.
