My son has attended Trinity for the past two years. His confidence, maturity and independence have grown since being a student at this school. What I like most about Trinity is the time that the teachers have given him. They want him to be successful in all aspects of his life and they encourage him to succeed. All of the teachers are supportive and easily approachable. Mr. Corwin, head of school, will call me just to ask how I am doing and how my son likes the school. I would recommend this school to any parent that is seeking a small class size where teachers will give your child individual attention.

This is our first year at Trinity Prep and we have been very pleased. We came to this school with a promise of a caring non-stressful school setting and the staff of Trinity Prep has made that happen! When I decided to write this review I asked my son what he likes about the school and he said he loves his teachers and the other students. He feels like he is learning so much more at Trinity Prep and that the teachers make the learning fun. He likes the freedom that the students have to be responsible their learning and behavior. I am pleased that he is so excited about the academics of school, which he has struggled with in the past. As a parent I have loved the fact that when I have a question or concern the teachers and staff get back to me immediately and always handle things with the student’s best interest in mind.

My son chose to transfer to Trinity Prep this year after three very challenging years attending Myers Park High School. This has been a remarkable year so far. He is happy to attend school each day and is making the most of it! He enjoys the teachers and his classmates, they are very supportive and kind. His confidence has grown as well as his SAT and GPA. The small classes and warm atmosphere have helped to transform him into a successful college bound student. He enjoys the golf team, yearbook, great lunches ordered from local favorites, giving tours to perspective students, 45 minute classes, easy access to teachers and many other aspects of the school! Trinity Prep is a unique little place and I am so glad my son found his way there.

We were looking for an alternative to our local public high school. We watched our happy, bright daughter become increasingly stressed out and lose all confidence in herself with regard to academics. She began to act out to express her frustration, and indicated daily that she did not want to go to school. After hearing of other families who made the switch to Trinity, we decided to explore that option. From the very first day, she loved the school and appreciated the opportunity for a fresh start. The environment was extremely nurturing and the academics were much more suited to her learning style. Because class sizes are smaller than public schools, teachers are able to provide more individualized instruction. The curriculum is more practical with increased emphasis on projects and hands-on lab experiences. The students learn by doing. The teachers care whether or not the students have mastered the topic before moving on, allowing the students to actually learn more throughout the school year. In addition to making wonderful friends, our daughter is happy and far more engaged in the learning process than she had been in her two years at her public high school. She can now pursue college options with confidence and enthusiasm knowing she is not only smart enough to go to college, but equipped with the tools to be successful. We would highly recommend Trinity to any family looking for a supportive, positive, yet challenging high school learning environment.

My daughter E started at Trinity Prep as an eighth grader. She had been going to a large public middle school for two years by then and although academically she was doing fairly well, she was "falling through the cracks." She was a quiet student and she was largely unnoticed by her teachers in the large classes. When I asked her teachers questions about her attention in class, two of four of them could only look down at her grades to tell me how she was doing. They had so many students that they barely knew who she was. E was also lacking in confidence. She didn't think of herself as being smart. After the switch to Trinity, we noticed a major change in her. She started to realize that she is very smart and that she can take control of her learning. She also, through the guidance and feedback of her wonderful teachers at Trinity, came to discover that she is a very talented writer and a talented abstract artist. She writes every day and has produced many, many poems, songs, stories, etc.
E is now a straight A student, but more than that, she is a confident young lady, who feels very much a part of her school. This is largely because the teachers at Trinity are very supportive of her and encourage her to be herself. E lives with anxiety and the teachers and the principal have supported her through anxiety attacks and have been understanding when anxiety controls her moment.
Since joining TrinityPrep, E has learned to express herself. She is not the quiet student hiding in the corner anymore. She is engaged in classroom discussions and loves to go to school. I highly recommend this school to families who are looking for a small, nurturing school that will help their child blossom into a confident adult ready to move on to the next step.
