Gaston Day School

I played a soccer game against the Gaston Day Varsity team and the players were not very pleasant (Not all but most). Number 4 was challenging me, pushing me and worst of all, stomped on my ankles when it was not necessary. The teachers and coaches of Gaston Day needs to teach their students the art of sportsmanship.

Choosing Gaston Day School for our son has been the best decision we have ever made. From the first time we set foot on campus, it has felt like home. This school is a hidden gem among the greater Charlotte area private schools. The campus grounds are amazing and allow for an outdoor classroom experience with authentic learning opportunities. The hospitality shown by students, faculty and staff, and families is second to none, the academics are challenging and teachers support students' learning, and the food is top notch (an important component to a growing boy). For a school its size, I have been thoroughly impressed with the variety of advanced coursework, sports teams, arts, theater, music and language offerings. An afterschool program that extends through middle school and local bus options makes it easier for families with both parents working outside the home. Gaston Day is living its mission and values and we are proud to be a part of the Gaston Day family.

Founded in 1967, Gaston Day School is a nonsectarian, college-preparatory school for grades preschool through 12 with approximately 500 students and 65 full and part-time faculty and staff. Please reach out to me directly in the Admissions Office to learn more.
