Mike R. Our tour guide was very knowledgeable and entertaining. Fiona our mule was a beautiful equine. It was nice to know that they are bred for heat resistance and when it does get too hot they are taken back to their stable. They are rested in between tours and I believe they are treated very well. This is a very cool way to get to see NOLA. Great date night with my baby baby.
We took the afternoon haunts and history tour. It was a blast! We got to see lots of different areas of the French Quarter and learn about all the different haunted areas. Our tour guide was great, he told us lots of facts and stories and answered all our questions. It was a wonderful way to spend an afternoon!
My nephew and I had such a wonderful time this evening with our guide, and Coca Cola. She was very knowledgeable about the city and answered all of our questions. We were informed that Coca Cola was relatively new to the streets of New Orleans, but she did so well for us- her driver was always patient, kind, and talked her through some challenging obstacles during our ride. Thoroughly loved every minute of our haunted history ride this evening. Thank you, Coca Cola!!
Booking was very convenient and they were very flexible when we decided to change our tour to an evening tour. My husband and I went with our toddler and he was very relaxed and liked waving to people. For us adults, the content was very interesting and our driver was very knowledgeable. The tour was haunted history but it wasn’t gory. We also appreciate how well they take care of their mules. Would absolutely recommend and take the tour again next time we visit New Orleans.
Our carriage tour was awesome! Loved hearing about all the haunted history of the Quarter and surrounding areas. We would recommend taking this tour at least once if you’ve never done it! Thank you!
We absolutely loved the tour! My family and I enjoyed Shannon and Josie, and the tour with all the stories and history was amazing! Will definitely be booking again, when we’re back in the area.
The mule drawn carriage tour is WELL WORTH THE MONEY! If you would like an overview of the French Quarter and surrounding neighborhoods, but do not have a lot of time to explore everything, this is your solution. If you are limited in your ability to walk very far but are, with assistance, able to get up into the carriage, this is your solution. If this is your first time in New Orleans and don't have any idea where to go, this is your solution. A thorough overview of history, and the several type of cultures that make up New Orleans. An hour in a carriage hearing and seeing fascinating things. This helped in narrowing down where we wanted to go next. Thank you Patsy for escorting us around New Orleans. I hope those box trucks, like UPS, etc, don't bother you too much.
I had a great experience! Friendly driver with lots of knowledge. I had signed up and was the only one, so I ended up on a different tour but I didn’t mind I mainly wants to be able to see more of the architecture of the French quarter and more of the history anyway. I also got to sit right in the front wish the driver! I highly recommend them for a carriage tour!
We had a great experience with Royal Carriages in NOLA. Our guide was super knowledgeable about the history of NOLA, we learned a lot. She told stories of ghosts and vampires, all very interesting! She spoke loudly so we could all hear her clearly and waited until we passed loud music so we could hear her. The carriage ride takes you further and is more intimate than a walking tour for sure. I would 100% recommend this tour!
The ride was so nice. We didn’t want it to end! Our guide was so knowledgeable and pleasant. I truly love history and thought I had a lot of experience with the French Quarter but he was quite good, so we listened intently! The morning was beautiful and the air pleasant! Our guide made the tour well worth the cost. His love for the community showed and we loved our little journey through history with him.
