Founded in 1956, the Friends of the Cabildo (FOC) is a local nonprofit organization that supports the Louisiana State Museum (LSM). The FOC assist the LSM through a variety of functions including providing volunteers and financial support to all State Museum properties in New Orleans and the state of Louisiana.

Super friendly guide, Hopper, led me on a private tour I think because it was a hot yet rainy midsummer afternoon. I especially appreciated how he customized his content to my interests. Their guides are all volunteers so it feels like there's more passion behind it all! Museum is great too admission included with tour price.

Had a great tour with Don Nolan the day after Christmas. Very informative! I'd advise first-time tourists to take this tour on their first day in New Orleans.

Went on the 1:30 French Quarter tour and Jan really new her stuff! As a guide here in NOLA, I was delighted by her eye for detail and her love of the history. Highly recommended!

Great tour that covers a bit of history.  Its a tour that grown ups will enjoy and not the typical entertainment-focused silly-fest

Our tour guide was wonderful and we learned so much about New Orleans history! I loved supporting a non-profit that really cares about the history rather than salesmanship. Bring the sunscreen and the water, because the two hours can be a bit long!
