Boos! and Booze: Exclusive Access You may have been to some of the stops on the tour before, but you haven’t seen them like this! Through his extensive personal relationships, tour guide Brian of New Orleans Streetwalkers provides exclusive access to some of the French Quarter’s most famous haunts. I had a great time exploring the Quarter with our tour group between Christmas and New Year's Eve, when the city was still all dressed up for the holidays. An engaging and entertaining storyteller, Brian included a mix of recent and older tales to keep things fresh. I thought I was familiar with the haunted history of New Orleans, but I was pleasantly surprised to learn new things. I also enjoyed the creative use of photography and video to enhance the tour experience. Our group was smaller and generally better-behaved than some others we passed on our travels, which was great. We learned about the history of the city’s iconic cocktails, and everyone had a great time -- without getting obnoxious. When the tour was over, he offered recommendations and tips for things to do while in town. Brian is great, and I’ll be back for another adventure soon!
5 star tour all around. Brian the owner and sole tour guide was extremely knowledgeable, patient, and so much fun! Our group was a bachelorette/bachelor party and Brian's tour was the perfect day drinking fun excursion for us all! He had all the hook ups with the oldest, most historical, and classy cocktail bars. He took us in the back rooms, and gave us the full history on each location. He answered every question we had along with recommending each bar's most popular and famous cocktails. Brian was an absolute pleasure and by the end of the afternoon knew all of our names. He even took the extra time and booked our restaurant reservation that we all enjoyed at the end of the tour. I would not only recommend this tour but would take it again!
This was actually the third tour I went on with Brian, and all three were great. I moved to New Orleans a year ago and did his French Quarter tour to get some insight into the quarter’s history and loved his style. I next did his Boos! and Booze Tour when a few friends came to visit and we had a lot of fun learning of different haunted restaurants and bars. This third tour I went on was on NOLA tapas and it was a great way to learn about some of the best spots in the city for tasty appetizers and even tastier cocktails. All the places we went to were great, and Brian regaled us with interesting details about all of them. It was a great way to learn of great spots in the city even for someone who has been here for a year, just because Brian knows all the best spots and the right people at these spots to hook you up with great experiences. Very heartily recommended!
By far the best ghost tour in NOLA! Brian is incredibly knowledgeable and his tour is not gimmicky or full of “Rumor has it’s”. He takes you into the heart of the venues and tells you exact moments and real life encounters. His Booze recommendations during the tour are also fantastic. We have taken this tour 3 times and I experience something new each time we go. It’s perfect for a group activity and a great way to start or end your trip!
Best tour in the city! I seriously can't say enough great things about this tour and Brian. My husband and I were in New Orleans for our anniversary and I'm an absolute ghost/horror/history nerd. We did the Boos and Booze tour, and because of a last minute rescheduling we ended up being the only two on the tour. Brian keeps the groups small which is so much better than some of the tour groups we saw wandering around the city. Brian is an amazing storyteller, and he seems to know every person in the city, so he gives you great behind the scenes access. Every story was unique, the bars he took us to made great cocktails, and we got to see a lot of places that we never would have found on our own. We'll absolutely be hitting up one of his other tours the next time we visit, and I'll be talking him up to everyone I meet. If you're not really a "tour person" seriously give one of Brian's tours a shot and you'll be an instant convert.
I booked a tour with Brian for myself and 11 others on the recommendation of my sister who was recently in New Orleans and had a tour with him. Glad to say that she was right on with this. Brian was amazing. Everyone in our group had an incredible time while listening to some history and learning about the City as we toured from Bar to Bar. By the end of our Tour Brian went out of his way to direct us to another bar with some added history. On our next trip back we will definitely be seeing Brian again.
We've been to New Orleans previously with our kids. And we always tour with Brian and his Streetwalkers Tours. This time around, it was just my wife and I and we asked Brian to take us out privately with some bar stops and the history of the requisite cocktails with added French Quarter history, as well. As always, Brian kept us entertained with fun, unexpected history, great drinks and he also combined a couple of our old favorite destinations, by request, with some new ones we didn't know. If you're looking for cocktail or French Quarter history while in New Orleans, Brian is your tour guide.
I can't begin to recommend Brian's cocktail tours enough. We went on the Boos and Booze tour and had an absolute blast. Brian actually takes you into these different places and explains the history and culture behind the haunted stories he tells and their relation to the buildings that you're standing in. The tour is intimate and personable due to the small group size. Brian knows what he's talking about, and does so in a way that is both entertaining and captivating. Emily and I had a blast, and will definitely be back for the Sin and Gin tour the next time we're in the French Quarter. Do yourself a favor, and take a tour with Brian!
