Carvao BBQ

Both my friend and I go here as regulars to get our favorite delicious burgers!! Love the staff and shout out to Kat who makes the best Pina Colada drink ever!! Burgers are so filling and I love how seasoned the fries are. Missed when this place use to put oregano on the fries, it gave it so much flavor! Also wish the bergen burger came back to the menu : it was my favorite of all But I respect David for doing his best to compromise for my favorite burger. All in all, I can't get a burger from anywhere else. I tried... trust me... This is the only place I must have a burger from when I'm craving it.

This is my second time purchasing food from Carvao. First time was eat in. Great service, great food. Loved the restaurant. Second time I got delivery. Fabulous!!! Luv, luv, luv this place . Try the Pulled Pork Sandwich. It's about time Uptown J Cy got another restaurant of this quality. Keep them coming.

Definitely not worth price of the food. Medium ribs $25 Dozen wings $17. How can you support small business when you get cheated with price and portions.

Update 5/2022 On my most recent visit, I am sad to day the place has changed. The quality of the food has degraded. It is possible that there are new cooks, and if so, then there should be consistency, but there is not. I traditionally order the usually, but each time the portions get smaller, prices get higher, and the flavor and presentation is absent. I do understand there are hard times upon many businesses but the goal is to maintain consistency to assure each experience is better than the last. Overall, they have lost their direction and focus more on the alcohol. Very sad!

The best ribs on the planet. I eat here once or twice a week for the last couple of years.

Today December 21,2022. I ordered small ribs with yellow rice. Oh my!!! It’s salty and I can actually feel grain of salt on the ribs. What a disappointment. Hoping to get a refund from Uber eats.

The place itself is trash. Ruined mostly by the local "element" and the unprofessional staff. I would look past ALL of that if the food was any good but no. It's tasteless, unseasoned and poorly cooked. You get either undercooked or burnt. No happy mediums. I would look past ALL of that if the prices were at least decent but... no.Food: 1/5

This establishment is so welcoming, they literally became family over the years. It was one of the first restaurants I took my family to when we first moved to JC. The team is incredible!! Kid-friendliness: My kids love love love this place. They feel right at home whenever we step through the doors
