Got it off of one of the “bring me my dang food” apps. It did not disappoint. I grew up/still live in the south and it’s hard to find good soul food anymore, even in the south. Well! This is the SPOT. I got the Oxtails with rice, collards and mac. It was like the lord came down and cooked it herself. Thank you all for this amazing food after a long day. I will be back! 100% the greatest.

Used to order here a lot during the 2020-21 thought I’d give it a try today thru Uber eats again .. not bad for 40 min wait

Inviting Southern cuisine restaurant with a delicious selection of sandwiches, main entreé, sides, desserts and beverages. I do not feel that my wait is very long whenever I place my take-out order with the friendly counter staff and I notice several customers, come in to pick up their orders and they smile and chat with the staff as well. Orders are cash only, you pay right after ordering and there is an ATM provided in the waiting area if needed. My food is always packaged very well and everything I have ever ordered has a wonderful aroma and tastes great!

I ordered an hour and 20 before closing and as soon as I put it in they canceled my order super fast. I called to see of if it was a mistake and the man on the phone told me that they didn’t cancel orders and to just try again. I tried again and then they canceled again I tried to call and speak to the same man but they sent me to voicemail . Waste of time

Great little restaurant. Don't be fooled by the looks. They were friendly and the food was good. I'd go back again.Food: 5/5

Been a fan of this soul food restaurant for years and the food and staff have always been great! Will always support them & all Black businesses.

Every time I order from here via Grubhub. I am missing part of my order. Every time! They never do anything to solve this issue.

Food is very good. Only thing you cannot order sides over the phone for some reason so get there fast to get your sides cause they sell out quickly.

EXCELLENT, CLEAN DELICIOUS FOOD, CLEAN NICE SEATING AREA, CUSTOMER SERVICE IS ABSOLUTELY BEAUTIFUL... GREAT BIG SMILES... AND THE FOOD IS TO DIE FOR... LONG LINES BUT WENT DOWN QUICKLY... THAT MEANS FOOD IS FANTASTIC.. LOL ... I WILL BE THERE EVERY WEEKEND... LOL ... A GEM ON THE HILL ...
