Gourmet Fresh

The selection is incredible. Only critique is the seafood area has an overwhelming aroma. I purchased fish, it was delicious and tasted very fresh. I just think they need to address that issue.

The customer Sevice was horrible. I work with the public so I’ m always conscious of how I treat people when I’m on the other side of the desk. I’m not too familiar with the location of products so I have to ask the workers for assistance. A few men that were stocking in the frozen department were very HELPFUL, a bit of a language barrier but I know a little Spanish so it worked out perfectly. I went to the seafood department and showed the guy behind the counter a photo of the fish I wanted and he said he’d help me find it, there was a second fish I wasn’t familiar with and I asked for assistance again, he told me doesn’t know, walks away and when I asked him to please show me he took off his apron and went to the back. I asked another worker, she said she’ll help me after the customer she was helping. When she was done, she was walking over to me and was called by three other customers who came after me, she decided to help them first and make me wait. I’m not one to complain but my experience in this store was the worse. I asked another worker for help, just to point me into the direction for the product I was looking for he got annoyed I guess because he was texting on his phone I disturbed him. Please teach your workers to assist ALL of your customers with friendliness and professionalism. I felt so out of place and ignored at this location. The guys in the meat department was awesome, they actually walked me to the items I was looking for. Be friendly

First time checking this market out and I was impressed with the huge selection they have. I was highly disappointed with the Bakery section. The Bakery section didnt look appetizing at ALL!. Their buns and pastries looked nothing like I would see In Chinatown NYC bakeries. All the selection of fresh buns looked like they didn't know how to bake it at all....a disgrace and needs improvement.

It’s getting more and more chaotic recently, and the management should be responsible for this. Price tags messed up all over the place, 50% of merchandises do not have a correct price anywhere near them; the shopping carts were always missing and you can’t even get even one functioning cart when you arrive at weekends. The fish market smells worse than most toilets and no one seems to care. Piles of shipping containers just piled up in the pathways for sale, again without price tags. The price is getting more and more expensive as well.

This place is very grand! Lots of room and tons of well stocked items. This has all your Asian groceries needs for sure!! The cashier was nice and friendly. Check this place out when in the Jersey city area.

Used to like this place however recently purchased the cooked duck for dinner and got a really bad stomach from it the next morning. So did my partner and that was the only meal we ate that was the same. The fruits are quite often mouldy. I would say I’m quite put off this place.

Although this super market has excellent products and is very clean. The staff and customer service is absolutely atrocious! Not only that, it’s filled with racists and bigots. I’m a darker skinned muslim and everyone starred at me as if I was abnormal. I once went into customer service and there was another dark skinned lady there too, as soon as she left they sprayed the place with disinfectant. Karla, the manager, is beyond rude. She is always ready to fight with the customers. There’s this other pregnant lady she is worse.

I don't think it deserves 1star but I want to get their attention. The wrong pricing happened a few times. I saw one price at the shelf and paid at a different price. It's annoying. People don't like surprises. I'm not asking for $1 or $2 discount. I made a plan for my dinner and I'm not going to change it for a few $. Sometimes they admitted the mistake and gave me the discounted price. Today they insisted on the higher price and dismissed what I saw was because customers move the products around. I even went back and took the picture. Come on, I was not asking for $1 discount. I was telling them to fix their problem and they didn't believe me. Very disrespectful for customers.

Oh boy, my favorite super market in Jersey city. Fresh butchers, a whole cafeteria with no shortage of Asian cuisine. AND a great selection of produce and food from a variety of locales. Truly a jersey city gem.

Nice, bright asian grocery store. They have a bakery, Chinese BBQ, and milk tea stores in the same building too. Their fish section offers complimentary cutting and frying when requested though they take longer to prep your fish then fish stores in Chinatown.
