What a delightful meal this past weekend at the Cascades Restaurant!     Our server, Sonny, was awesome and made our evening.  It was late and we were tired and hungry.  He made wonderful suggestions for Sushi and he was spot on.  The atmosphere is delightful and that is something that is reflected in prices - one must remember that it is Opryland Resort.  It was a great experience.

First, we had a party of nine, so we were split into 2 tables. Then, the waitress came along and moved us all to one table, claiming that we might want to sit next to each other. We ordered food, and the waitress took the order. We specifically told her we had to go to an event after an hour. After around thirty minutes, we went to find the waitress because she hadn’t served anything yet. She got really annoyed at us, and told us that she would bring the food when it was ready, which was a lie because half our food was already ready. When we asked her to check on it, she ran off and didn’t check on the food. Finally, after 45 minutes of waiting at a table and an hour waiting to get a table, we got the waitress to check our food and it was all ready, and some of the food that was supposed to be hot was already cold. On top of that, the portions were the smallest I’ve ever seen at any restaurant, and we had to finish eating in 5 minutes to get to our event, and we were still all pretty hungry.
I would recommend this place for the good food, but it’s really expensive and some or maybe just one waitress there could really piss you off.

Steak was absolutely delicious. Cooked perfectly with a delicious sauce. Husband had the salmon and raved about it as well as the rice. Server was polite and very efficient. Only draw back is the price.. a little pricey but food was out of this world.

This is as honest as I can be.  Food was great, service even better.  But... family of 4, kids just had a California roll each.  Wife had salmon a glass of wine.  I had cod and 1 corona.  To be fair we did order a cheese board.  Price: $145.  I’m not a huge fan of overpaying by that much.  I don’t mind paying a touch high but after tip, which service was awesome so total bill was 175.  I’m happy to tip the waiter as he was awesome.  Food was just crazy priced.

My sister and I entered into the Cascades in the Opryland Resort.  Just driving in from Detroit Michigan we were hungry and tired.  We were seated at a table and greeted by Patricia.  Patricia was the best waitress ever.  She made us feel welcome instantly.  The food was absolutely delicious!  I highly recommend This restaurant, the experience and food was perfect.
