My recent visit was the only time so far that I've been. Catfish, fries, hush puppies- we're all delicious & you will be satisfied with your choice of eating here. It's a massive place so parties are encouraged to be thrown here. There was a corporate dinner happening that day. The employees were great as well. I'll return!
Smallest amount of food for the price I've ever received. Fries taste old! Fish is maybe 1 piece cut into 4 small pieces! Slaw is medicore! Tomato relish decent! For $13. Don't go here, you can get good fish with a decent serving at plenty other places!
My order was lacking major flavor. It was my 1st time to try this location out. And I was very excited. The business was very slow. The size of those baby catfish fillets are laughable. I would give them another try. They could if had an off day
I've always loved the catfish and shrimp combo the most. The slaw hush puppies and green tomatoes are good along with onion plus lemons give the complete package. I've eaten here with my wife since they opened in the nineties and can tell the quality is always better than the cheaper catfish places. I also love the sweet employees and Christain music playing. FRESH FAST FRIENDLY!!!!
My husband and I drove 350 mi to go to his clinic visit in Little Rock Ark from Missouri. We wanted catfish and this place was close. Do not waste the money. Very high priced catfish that seems chewy. Dry BBQ beans and German chocolate cake. The table we sat at was cleared off but not wiped down at all. The bathroom smelled so bad of old urine that it killed my appetite. Management needs to step it up! I am in customer service. The only thing positive in this experience was our waitress. She was very sweet. Don't think I will re-visit again.
The BEST catfish meal in Little Rock! Always consistent high quality food. The sides are great and always fresh! Staff is friendly and helpful!! Great restaurant!
So, here is the deal: let's start with the PROS--- food is delicious... its cooked fresh and made to order... EVERY TIME... But here are the CONS---- the food is extremely OVERPRICED for the PORTIONS they give. Their drive thru customer service is "blah.." They are STINGY with condiments and for the amount customers are already overpaying for the skimpy portions, they should at least freely give customers condiments at their request... This is an issue for me because I purchased an 8 oz about 6 or 7 pcs of fish and a fried okra spent roughly $15 to $20.. when I got to the window, I requested 3 or 4 tartar sauces... the worker dryly told me that she would give them to me "this time" but next time I will be charged for the condiments... it felt condescending and as a person who goes there frequently, it just feels like my patronage isnt valued if the request for condiments is made to be such a big deal...its already overpriced as is... the least they can do is offer combo meals add drinks without additional costs... something...
Food was pretty gross, not to mention way over priced! Sides were way to sweet green tomatos, hushpuppies, potato salad. Ribs were more like jerky. Made my boyfriend and I sick to our stomachs that night. First and last time we will eat here.
I purchased a Groupon and for $20 worth of food if you spend $10. The BBQ sandwich which was "jumbo" was a regular size sandwich. I ordered Large Fries which were okay and there was a huge portion of the fries. I also ordered Carrot Cake. It was HORRIBLE. IT WAS DRY AND THE CARROTS WERE GREEN/BLACK. It was old. I had to throw it out. I hope no one gets sick from eating that. The okra ordered was ok. The meal was just nasty. DO NOT GO THERE!!!
I love the friendly staff, and food is still good. They are a little pricey but worth the weekly lunch and dinner visit. However, the total experience is not worth 5 stars.
