Sim's Bar-B Que

Talk about paranoid. This place still offers no dine-in and requires masks. Anyways, let's talk about the Q. I ordered the pork rib plate that comes with 2 sides I chose potato salad and onion rings and 2 slices of bread. The sides were fine and the ribs were actually pretty good. They were fairly tender and they give you a large portion for the price. The equivalent of about 6-7 bones. I guess my only complaint is the sauce. It's bit too tangy for me and definitely on the thin side, like not nearly thick enough to stick to the ribs. I think on future visits I will ask for sauceless ribs and just put on my favorite commercial sauce. But some folks may like their house sauce so try it for yourself.

While flying in to work for one day, the gentleman I sat next to recommended this place. It was a few miles from the work location so I gave it a shot. Food tasted great, I loved the greens, old school cornbread not that cake-like texture stuff some pass off as cornbread lol. I got a pork sandwich dinner. Chopped pork had a great flavor, portion was plentiful. My only issue is there was no dining in, to go orders only. I ate in their parking lot in my rental car, so I carried it from their counter to my car just a few feet out the door. A to-go box, even handled gently was a big mess when opened. Glad I didn’t take it any further down the road.

We ordered a brisket plate and db cheese burger. Burnt cornbread and poor serving sizes. Presentation could’ve been much better considering dining in is not an option. Cheese burger was poorly done and dressed.They weren’t genuine when we addressed our concerns about the food. Not the Sims it use to be.

Usually I would get bbq from Sims but I remembered the burgers are so underrated and was craving one today. Best burger I have had from anywhere recently hands down! If you haven't had a burger from Sims try it next time you go. #YoureWelcome

Called to tell manger on duty my sandwich was dry. Was not very attentive to what I was saying. I suggest that all staff be educated professionally and trained on how to deal with customers. Manger was very dismissive. Parking: Very accessible to front door.

Fast friendly service. Huge portions of meat. Ordered pork rib tip sandwich but meat was still on the bone but still damn delicious. Will definitely will go back.

The food was delicious I didn't add any seasoning to anything everything was fresh this place is definitely one of my favorites around Little Rock

This was a $16 plate of lunch. The sausage was really tasty, although a bit overcooked. The pulled pork was chopped much finer than I expected, but still tasted nice. The portion size was very kind. The beans had a good flavor. The potato salad tasted like it came from a tub and was nothing different than you'll get most other places. The service was FAST and the counter staff were very friendly! I'll definitely go back when I'm in the area and craving BBQ. I want to give their ribs a taste... but it's nothing I'd go out of my way for.

So I got the lunch special with coleslaw added and it was 14$ total. Not giving the stars for the price but the pork sandwich was not good at all. The pork tasted frozen. It was watered down and barely had any taste. Would not recommend coming here

My parents dropped off their Turkey, as they do every year, to be smoked by Sims BBQ on John Barrow. Not only did they “lose” the Turkey, but they didn’t even compensate my parents for the price of the Turkey! I’ll be up there when they open back up to make sure they make things right. This was an awful experience especially for such a special holiday for my family.
