Central Coast Pathology Patient

Horrible place!! I would give zero stars if I could. They discriminate against mentally disabled individuals. (Only on weekends) is what I was told this past Saturday when I took my severely mentally and physically disabled clients to get their blood drawn. I was pulled aside and told they refuse to draw on my clients simply because “they take longer than everyone else.” The woman explained, during the week my clients are welcome but on weekends they refuse to draw on the mentally and physically disabled and was told to leave. IM NEVER GOING TO THIS PLACE AGAIN!!!

Complete disappointment. Needed to take a glucose test for my pregnancy. Called and I was told if I get there before 1130 I would be ok even tho they close at 12. Got there at 11. It’s a one hour test. They made me wait 30minutes before telling me oops too late to take ur test because it takes an hour and we close at noon. They sent me away and didn’t care even after I told them I called and was told just to be there before 1130. I was pregnant, starving(cuz you aren’t sopposed to eat), waiting for 30minutes only for them to send me away.

If/when your medical practitioner requests blood work from these guys, maybe a prudent question to ask "is this essential to understanding my health?". Otherwise, if you're into waiting forever when you're starving and being chided by technicians about things out of your power to change, central coast pathology might just be your kind of place.
