Central Rock Gym

Took my son rock climbing here for the first time and he loved it! The staff were awesome and his instructor was great, very helpful and patient. We'll be back .

I attribute this place to being the reason I lost 40 pounds and started caring about my health. They have an extensive climbing wall that's rotated on a fairly regular basis, yoga classes, and a small weight/ cardio gym. The activity is loads of fun with a group, and just a regular amount of fun if you're solo.

This is the original Central Rock Gym. It has a good balance of bouldering, top rope, and lead climbs, as well as a friendly community. Since March, they have acquired a new lead setter and reset walls regularly. There is more bouldering in the expansion, including slab climbs as well as a steep overhang.

Signed up for an introduction to belaying with my son (4 years old) for $25. Our instructor had my son and I climbing in an hour. We are hooked and can't wait to come back. Great staff and great facility.

First place I ever climbed in. Less than a month later, I decided to become a member and have been one ever since. The Central Rock Gym separates their routes using hold colors which is much better than gyms that put stickers near each route. The gym is clean and staff if very friendly. A member of the staff, James, had a strong role in getting us into the sport.
