This is my LAST visit to this Cafe! The cashier was super rude. I bought two drinks and paid $20 cash. He gave me $2.50 instead of $12.50 without receipt. Around 5 minutes later when I realized he gave me $10 less, I went back immediately and told him the situation. He said there were too many customers in last 7 minutes and he can't remember it. Although I explained three times, he still doesn't believe me! He had a very bad attitude and said "I can give you the money but it depends on you"! He was never sorry for his mistake and he never want to give me back my own money. I was super embarrassed and left without the money! I should never went back with my baby and my little girl. Worst shopping experience ever! I can't stand his rude response to the customers. I live in the neighborhood and definitely will remember the awful experience whenever I pass by.

OMG, everything is so Delicious, I had a sandwich called president Sandwich. My husband took smoked Turkey with Asiago cheese on Brioche . The coffee and deserts are great! I LOVE THE STAFY

I would give minus stars if it was possible. Worst cashier I have come across in my life. Extremely rude, unfriendly. While ordering, she couldn’t act more annoyed and careless. That was just very unprofessional but it got better! We had ordered a latte and a 3 egg wrap which without taxes added up to 11,45. She charged 14,60 and when we asked her how she came up with that sum she refused to give out a receipt. Then she suddenly randomly gave us back a dollar, claiming that she had charged an extra egg ?, told us that we were „abusing her at her workspace“ and when we wanted to cancel the order she told us she wasn’t allowed to do refunds by her manager. Long story short - when we insisted on getting a receipt apparently she couldn’t print it anymore, all of a sudden, she was able to refund us indeed and we left very certain to never return. Wow. What a fail and how brazen. This is only an assumption, but because of her shady behavior and because she didn’t even try to clarify the situation, it all seemed like she had charged us more to put it in her pocket hoping we wouldn’t notice.The owner should really make sure that his employees don’t try to rip off the customers.

The coffee was really good but their displayed prices in-store and online are all totally outdated and deliberately misleading. My drink said $5.95 on the menu above the counter, but I was charged over $8. Other local coffee shops lately have been charging $6-7 for this drink iced mocha, 20 oz. If they charged the same price as their competitors I’d rate them a 5, but I think it’s pretty dishonest what they’re doing ‍ I get that there’s inflation, but they’re completely out of the normal range compared to other coffee shops

If I can give it a 0 star I would. Please don’t come here. The Spanish lady who is the manager is extremely rude. I come here all the times and she always have a smart comment. They also gave us a cheese cake that had mold on it.

The spicy egg wrap is delicious. I also order cakes here for work and the chocolate cake is delicious!Recommended dishesWraps

I agree 100% with those customers who left negative ratings. This morning I was trying to find a chesse cake and the cashier was so rude and I realized this is the same person who had several times treatred asian customers so bad.

I’ve picked up smoothies and nova bagels, snacks and other sandwiches here a few times. Coming back more than once to a cafe surrounded by cafes, you know it’s good!

After coming here for years, I am finally leaving a review! Champignon is my go-to anytime I am in the city. My son and I grab a smoothie, a coffee, or a fresh lemonade and head to the park with en egg sandwich wrap or a delicious pre-made sandwich made fresh everyday!. They also have the most mouth-watering desserts: New York cheesecake, red velvet, cannolis, cupcakes, cookies, and too much more to list! Did I meantion their iced matcha is better than the rest? The staff is warm, friendly, and get to know you by name so fast! Thank you for our yummy and healthy lunch today and more days to come!
