Sad to say, my family had a very horrible experience. We flew in to surprise our daughter Celebrating her birthday. We decided to go to Lennox mall to take her shopping. We stopped in the gucci store first looking for whatever she wanted. She then asked if there was a channel store and we were directed to Neiman Marcus so she could look for a channel bag which she preferred over gucci. We were with a group of about 10 of family and friends. We approached the channel store an immediately the guard at the door says only two people can come in. I told him we'll We are her parents and at least me and her dad need to be with her We are buying her whatever she wants. He then says sorry it's the rules. So I say so you want her to pick which one of us she takes in i will probably buy a bag also. He just looks at me. Meanwhile I see 3 ladies inside the store taking a selfie. I ask him are they together and he just looks at us a shrugged his shoulders and laughs. Now I understand the notion of not having a store full of people and waiting until people come out to let others in. But I feel he looked at our group and judged us all. We frequent high-end stores all over the country and this was a first for me . I told him well back to the gucci store we go I have never been treated this way and of course my husband and I where with a group of young black boys and girls. But this was a true case of judging a book by the cover. When we walk in gucci or LV even if we look like the everyday black American we have never been treated this way. Signed unhappycustomer or almost customer. It's sad when the manager of another store apologize for what happened at a competitor by the way they were happy we came back because when my husband see his wife or children unhappy he spares no expense so the birthday Girl shopping spree ended well. I will be contacting management and corporate.
Such a small Chanel shop for a luxury mall. Not much selection to look around but also not much impressive customer service actually. Had better go shopping another bigger Chanel.
Elizabeth in Chanel at Saks is the best in the world. She knows what it means a ‘true service’. She welcomed me at the beginning with her whole being making me feel so welcomed and cared. And also she has the best eye and a pick for me. She let me try all the options and I got to love the purse that I never considered and that was the perfect choice for me. I had the most pleasant service for my day.
Linda and Jasmine helped me the day I came in prior to this I had been in just to look and keep saving for something. I was upfront about the budget I had and what I was looking for these ladies were so helpful and sweet I had such a great experience I was treated with respect and complete attention thank you so much Linda and Jasmine!
I stopped in the Chanel at Phipps about a week or two ago and had such a great experience with Elizabeth. I loved her bubbly/friendly personality and our connection over our rose gold cards lol. Would highly recommend shopping with her. I do wish this store had more in stock but will still give 5 stars because of the sweet SA!
This review is for the store located in Saks , Phipps Plaza Chanel does not stand behind their product. I bought a $5K tote in 2019 which i have minimally carried which had a few scuff marks on the top and bottom. I took it back to the boutique I had purchasd it to ask how to remedy the scuff marks. Salesperson had made up her mind to be unapologetic, unhelpful and even insulted my handling of my purse which I have stored for the last two years in the dust bag in the Chanel Box on a shelf in my closet. She spent more time telling me how the purse had a lot of wear which it has not, than addressing my issue. I am beyond disappointed the only option I was given was to send my purse off to Chanel restoration to see if they could paint my scuffs at a cost of $285. No thank you! I was not asking for a new purse, I was expecting that Chanel would stand behind their brand, their reputation and offer good customer service. I was very wrong. I will never purchase another Chanel purse.
Lost my jewelry and won't take responsibility for it. I called the boutique and spoke with an associate on how I can go about getting a pair of earrings repaired. The associate gave me exact instructions on what to do along with the address to which my earrings should be mailed. After getting confirmation that my package was delivered to the address by the Chanel employee but not hearing back from the store, I was informed that my earrings were never received and the address the Chanel employee provided me was incorrect. Each time I called, all I was told was that they would keep an eye out for my earrings but no one followed up with me, I had to keep reaching out. Not once did anyone apologize for the loss of my earrings or acknowledge my frustration and disappointment. The first few times I called, all they would say is that the employee provided me with the wrong address and they don't know why that was. Eventually when I call they tried to put blame on the USPS carrier by saying the earring were never delivered and kept telling me to call USPS. I opened several inquiries which confirmed what I told the Chanel several times, that USPS delivered the earrings to address provided by their employee. Its been 2 months and I have accepted that perhaps I was purposefully provided the wrong address and my earrings were stolen. It has been frustrating that anytime I reached out to any manager/supervisor they never accepted the responsibility of the fact their employee provided misinformation which resulted in the loss of my jewelry, jewelry that I will never get back or be reimbursed for. It would have made it a little easier if anyone had at least bothered to acknowledge their store's/employees culpability.
Bought jumbo classic at this store and Daisy was very helpful and nice !!! One think I hate about this store is shortage of stock ; but will go back tho.
I was recently in Chanel boutique in Neiman Marcus with my daughter which we were hesitant in going in based off reviews and not knowing how we would be treated. The guard made our wait easy with his jokes while we waiting for tye next SA Jay. Let me just say we are not from here and Jay is definitely Southern Hospitality…he was extremely patient with all of our questions, he was honest it letting us know what was perfect for what we were looking for vs pushing something on us and just a good energetic guy. I ended up getting a top handle for my daughter and he also sold her a scarf thingy that he tied around the handle. He is truly a sweety and gem from Chanel and we will definitely be back but not soon because we over our limits hehehe
There is just a very small Chanel within the Saks Fifth Avenue here, but they have always been lovely and helpful. They have a nice selection of handbags and accessories and have always been willing to show you whatever you need. I'm sure they are also willing to order items as well.
