Classic diner atmosphere that immediately makes you feel like you're at a hole in the wall/mom and pop restaurant. The ice cream and waffle cones are home made, which is what I had. This is a great treat to take the kids to after dinner if you're already downtown.

Its always nice to visit a historic relic in a town and chaps ice cream is a lovely throwback to a time gone by. The staff is lovely and wonderful. I would recommend this place to anyone looking for quick dessert from an older time.

Chaps is an awesome place to go and eat. And to visit cause you are at home here. Sit and talk with Tony the owner and staff. Who are all great. My favorites are Tony and Brenda aka Granny. I had been down had a bad day go here it will change. Love the food treat you like family. Just need to keep grill open longer.
