Chattahoochee River National Recreation Area - Allenbrook Unit

Very easy to access trail, there is some elevation but generally manageable. This is an excellent day hike. There are rocks along the river and plenty of spots to stop and relax. The waterfall is gorgeous. I would highly recommend an afternoon here followed by a picnic along the river or in the park.

A great local hike. You can bring your kids and your dog. Walk along the river and explore the waterfall. Parking is difficult but if you can't find parking at the Mill, park at riverside park.

Hope they get the house renovation done soon. Short trail but totally worth a visit.

Beautiful area to run, jog, ride the bike, or stroll with a dog. The sound of the river is so therapeutic.

Love the random awesome cliff and the creekside views but they could really do with trimming the foliage along the path every once in a while. The tick risk can get pretty significant but the views from both above and below the rockface are gorgeous. If you're lucky, you'll encounter the occasional climber rappelling up the craggy wall of stone.
