Checkerspot Brewing

First.. Mint Julep IPA. For me, amazing. Wish I could something like this here in Kansas.. The brewery is a cool spot. Close ish to the football stadium, plenty of parking, and lots of room to hang with friends. I didn't have much time here as the hours in Google were incorrect, so was only able to try 1 other beer on top of the MJ.. Would definitely make another stop to try some more recipes.

Really cool place, we had a work happy hour on a Thursday, perfect place for it. Great selection of beers and looked like a decent appetizer selection

Decent atmosphere. Microbrews are good. Our group had varying tastes in beer, and all were satisfied.

Nice location near the casino. Cool place inside. Good beer and surprisingly great food. I got the Rubin sandwich! Very nice!

Stopped by for the Birdland Caravan. Very cool little place and a very professional staff that handled the excited crowd very very VERY well. I enjoyed my Bird Is The Word very much, and I hope to try something new next time. I could definitely see myself stopping by here for a pregame drink before heading into Camden Yards one time. Definitely worth giving a shot!

I wasn't really a "beer person" before coming here, but they have a range of unique and local beers. It's a great atmosphere, and the decor is very cool with paintings and driftwood all over. The staff is pleasant, and there's trivia on Thursday nights.

Never a bad experience here. Rented out the upstairs for private trivia event and all positive. We have been many times to meet friends and it is: Very family friendly - kids welcome, games, lots of space for strollers Great beer and simple food menu. Pizza, cheese plates, sandwiches, and more.

I like the beer here. I also played trivia in the upstairs. I’m not sure what is going on, but the acoustics upstairs was horrible for trivia. It was super loud and almost impossible to understand the host. Good things the questions were on a tv screen.

Super good beer on tap! The location is solid and it was nice hanging out inside. Only negative is the food is not very appetizing. Otherwise, I can’t wait to go back during a Ravens game.
