I truly like Chico’s but their Vanity Sizing is out of control! Their 0’s are the new 00’s and their pants and skirts are cut huge. Many of us in our 60’s are still quite active, fit and slim. Chico’s is missing out on a promising market of ladies built like me 5’5”, 100 lbs or gals quite similar to my size. Additionally, my peers and I are largely retired, financially blessed and eager to enjoy these years with lovely new wardrobes.
I’ve always loved this chain and this particular location was so nice. The staff are friendly and helpful and there’s a beautiful selection of smart clothing and pretty jewellery. Everything is also laid out so well. My one complaint would be that they need to make a bigger selection of sizes. Their clothes are made for stick figures, it seems. But they’re so beautiful and good quality, it would be perfect to be more inclusive. I also feel their pricing is reasonable, which is a plus.
I don’t know what has happened to customer service post pandemic or if service is now just a lost art; but my shopping experience @ Chico’s in Summerlin / Rampart was so pathetic & horrible … I shutter to think this is what a boutique clothing store has lowered it’s standards to. Why pay an hourly wage if those hired has no clue how to give service? In making a shopping experience a wonderful thing… has that now gone to the wayside?? Are we now left to online shopping only & must forget any real human experience anymore?? Is this the after math of wearing masks & not really having to deal w/ human beings? It became the excuse of not relating, helping or properly giving service and acknowledging the customer…why bother? But now, I don’t think retail stores can get away with that philosophy any more. I certainly hope there’s a wake up call before it’s too late BUT it’s not looking good anymore!! So sad~~
We had amazing service here!
I love shopping at Chico's but this was by far the worst Chico's I've ever been in. The saleswoman, whose English I could barely understand, wrote my name on the fitting room door as they always do at Chico's but when she came back to check on her customers, she called out 'Hey Lady'. When I didn't hear anyone else respond, I answered, but she had already left the area. After trying on a few garments, I returned to the main area of the store and the saleswoman with whom I'd been 'working', asked if I 'was OK'. After saying, 'yes, of course, but...' she turned her back on me and I didn't stick around to find out whether they had other sizes available. They should take salesmanship lessons from the Chico's in Oro Valley, Arizona.
Great place with excellent selection. Staff are all great. Very professional and friendly.
