Children's Lighthouse Lake Houston

Our daughter has been going here for over a year and we've loved both rooms 1 and 2 so far. This was the first daycare we toured and we fell in love with Lighthouse. All of the staff are so kind and work to get to know the parents. The front desk knows which kid you're there for when you walk in. The cameras made it easier to be away from our daughter during the day, but the app they use has been phenomenal to get pictures and updates on eating, sleeping, bathroom, and activities. They do so much with the kids, but also give them lots of play time. The activities really seem focused on helping them properly develop. My daughter hated tummy time during my maternity leave but somehow they convinced her to like it. Most importantly, you can tell the teachers really care. My daughter doesn't like many people outside of our immediate family, but she's always excited to go play when we drop her off and is so happy when we pick her up. It was really difficult to send my daughter to daycare when my maternity leave ended, but knowing that she's loved and taken care of made it a much easier transition for all of us. We absolutely know we made the right choice in Lighthouse and brag about how much we love our daycare.

We cannot say enough great things about Children’s Lighthouse Lake Houston! Ms Raven and Ms Mayra in the infant room are so sweet and attentive to both the babies and parents. It’s such a relief knowing your babies are well cared for. The teachers in the toddler rooms are also amazing - from keeping up with the chaos of toddlers to making sure the parents get a detailed report and pictures throughout the day, they’re on top of it! We also love that the owner, Ms Kelly is so involved, you can really tell she cares.

Their whole "pay $200 to be placed on our wait-list" thing is sort of like a scam, for lack of better words. They will do a tour with you, knowing that the likelihood your child will be enrolled is slim to none. However, will encourage you to pay a deposit for a fake date in the future. Major play on words here by everyone! Not cool at all. My husband said it's like we paid $200 to view their facility. I had other friends to call there to inquire about availability, and they all were told that there is a waitlist, however, they were HIGHLY encouraged to come in and tour regardless! Two of the Mom's said emphasis was placed on them paying $200 for a spot. The other Mom opted out on doing a tour all together. We fell for it, and I am pissed. We put our daughter on the waitlist back in Oct 2023 and was told that she will be able to start in Jan 2024. I was even told to fill out her paperwork by Dec 8, 2023 under the impression we were making progress. However, when Jan came I heard nothing from them. I had to reach out to inquire about her start date, and was given the run around. They then responded and stated that they could squeeze her in on Tues & Thurs only, once I asked for a refund. I have asked for a refund multi times. They called and told me it is non-refundable and apologized for not having a spot open for her. SCAM! I would not trust people with my kids, if I can't trust them to do right by me in regards to my money.

I am truly grateful for Children's Lighthouse. Kelly, Trameca, Rebecca, and their team have gone above and beyond to ensure my family feels valued and cherished. They've gone above and beyond to rectify all of my concerns and have welcomed my family as part of theirs over the past two years. This is truly a great place to be!

Amazing place! The owner and management as well as the stuff are very professional, sweet and caring. It’s like home for your child and you. High standards and quality. Strong educational services and various activities such as children musician visits and others. The parent is informed on the child daily activities, as well as able to see the baby on the videos real time. Creative events for our babies and parents. I love this place

We absolutely love Children's Lighthouse! Mrs. Kelly makes the kids feel so special and welcome. I love that she is so involved in the community and the kids still get to see her at school events. I highly recommend this daycare to everyone that asks.

We are so grateful for Children’s Lighthouse! Our child has been loved on and inspired by so many teachers. Everyone is so intentional to know each child by name and help them learn and grow into the amazing little humans they are meant to be.

I am overall satisfied with Children's Lighthouse. I was very hesitant in the beginning only because I didn't want to put my baby in daycare. However, overtime that dissolved. They are more than a daycare, but a team, even so a village of support!

Children's Lighthouse was our first stop when trying to find a school for our daughter. After meeting the staff and doing a walk through, we instantly knew this was the place. They make us feel welcome each and everyday. I love how they have a variety of activities for the children to participate in. My daughter is learning and she loves going to school. I'm so thankful for the staff and all that they do.

The owner, staff, and teachers are great here. My son has been with Children’s Lighthouse since he was 3 months old. His teachers truly care for him and he has a blast while he’s there. I love that they have a monthly curriculum even for infants, have cameras parents can access, and send pictures so we can see what the kids are up to. The owner knows every kid by name and every parent’s face. We have had a positive experience so far here and would recommend it to other families.
