the Director is a really nice person, however I found out that teachers scream at children often. Parents might not notice if they leave kids there all day but I and my sister notice it since she used to pick him up at noonish. My son also told me. Nap time is too long for them three hours. I asked a refund for the rest of the week my kid wasn't going because I wasn't satisfied as a parent and it was denied. I explained my concerns to the Director, and she listened but I think a refund for part of the wk was fair. So, it's affordable, but I prefer Johnson Memorial School.

My son has been going here for about two months now and I absolutely love how they treat my son as if he's been attending for a long time. Love to see Ms. Nefris every morning happy to see my little man. Not once have I had a problem. Ms. Yolanda director and Ms. Nefris are very sweet awesome people, honestly wouldn't have my son go anywhere else! I would definitely recommend this daycare to anyone!

We had a wonderful 18 months at The CAHL, our son Vincent attended from age 3 months to 20 months and my husband and I feel very strongly that the foundational teaching he received has been invaluable to his progress, both mental and emotional/social. He made many friends and was treated with such love from the teachers and directors he loves Ms.Yolanda and Ms. Clara!!!. We have moved out of state and desperately miss the center, we all cried A LOT on his last day. I highly recommend The CAHL!!

Terrible experience here. Wouldn't recommend this place to my worst enemy. Screaming coming from the teachers and my child was terrified to come to this place everyday. I had even walked in on some of the screaming and hollering at our children coming from these young poorly qualified teachers. These girls look like they are straight out of high school and have no business working in a daycare! Their student to teacher ratio is completely in violation of the state of Texas and my child had at least 4 or 5 different teachers in the span of a couple months. All their good teachers left and they are desperately bringing in unqualified teachers just to fill in the space.. but guess what? Those teachers don't last even a day. I've heard from several of my child's teachers that it's because of poor management and that the owners treat them like absolute crap. I'm warning you, Take your child somewhere else!! Yes it's cheap but not worth the hassle and definitely not worth wondering if your child is safe and being yelled at while your away!

This place honestly does not deserve one star! I gave one because zero wasn't an option. If you are offered a position here RUN AWAY FAST! You are lured in with the promise of full time hours, and a freedom to lead a class your own way. Then you see the puppet master behind the puppet claire the director is a mere pawn in the simple game the owner plays. The owner never shows up but watches everything you do from her camera at home. The children are not only neglected but they are abused by the director as well as staff. The conditions are hostile and unsanitary colds and diaraha spread rapidly throughout the facility all the time, and the children are exposed to infestations of multiple insects that the facility exposes them to. Also the children are forced to take 3 hour naps instead of the normal one hour nap. Also they with hold checks when ever its beneficial to them I quit a week ago and still have not received my last check. They refuse to answer my calls and they also hang up in my face when I call from other numbers. Please protect your children as well as your self from this dangerous place.

Wow looking at the comments and the experience on this day care I changed my mind about applying at this place. I really think it's unprofessional and disrespectful for the owner of this day care to come on here and put out personal information on parents who send their child here. Then have the audacity to say, God bless? Really ? That's not the Christian way of life to tell spill people's business out just because they have bad experiences with your company whether sending their child at your business or working at your business. That's hypocritical, childish and petty. In every case as a owner you started out by I apologized, you'll investigate the case, then said you looked at their file , then spilled out their personal business like your Wendy Williams of Hot Topics of your day care center. You're so petty and in your feelings Ms owner. But that's Texas people . I've been living down here for 12 years. That's just how you people are down here. I tell you one thing I feel sorry for the future workers, recent workers, future parents who work or will send their child here. I never knew owning a business make people a arrogant fool. But that's Texans.

This is by far the worst place to take your child to. I got my 1 year old son back with an unexplained, unreasonable rash, from his diaper being on too tight and sitting in urine and feces for a long time. When i went back the next day I first spoke to the teacher that had him I told her what was wrong and she said "oh yea when i changed his diaper I noticed something red and i was just like ok" I told her why didn't anybody call me and tell he had a rash starting up or something she changed the subject and said the director was not there. I left came back & When I get there the "director" YOLANDA was very rude just kept saying that her staff did everything they could for him and basically it was my fault that my kid had a rash. All I wanted was an explanation as to why my son had a sever rash and my money back $150 yes i was rude as well and i should have not acted in such a way but come on I'm there speaking on behalf of my son who can't speak for himself...she repeatedly yelled at me to get out of her building and got in face to where i could smell her breath and some of her spit got on my face I did not leave the building which i know i should have but since she was acting in such a mean and cruel way i was too..anyways cops were called and nothing got resolved, she said she would call me by the end of the day and she didn't i gave her a day and when i called her back she said she was not going to reimburse me that i would have to take her to court to get that money back since the situation escalated....now imagine this her loosing her cool with an adult i wonder how she gets when a kid gets her irritated!!!!when i was waiting outside for the cops to get there the teacher that was there was yelling at the little 2-3 year old babies to where i can hear her all the way outside....I hope you guys get it together cause YOLANDA is not the right person for that kind of work or the other so called teachers that are working there!!!!!! I'll be waiting for a response I know y'all have something smart to say ;

Wonderful people that take great care of their children. My child attended for a year and a half. Every time I dropped him off and picked him up he was excited. They treated him like family. We had to switch daycare facilities because of our work schedules, but we would return in an instant if we could!

I was never given any type of paper work any of those days saying that my son was developing a rash nothing was given to me but a paper saying he needed more wipes. I didn't get a report or any kind of documents stating anything. I guarantee you if something would have been given to me or told to me the first day you are saying I took him there and it began, i assure you I wouldn't have made such a big deal about it because I was aware of it. Now I didn't go in there screaming and scaring the other kids as you say I did take a look at your cameras if you have any, I went in there calmly and respectfully I asked for my kids belongings and was told that Yolanda was not going to be there till 8:30 or 9 so I left. I came back once she called me and tried to resolve it over the phone I told her I was working and would be there to speak on it in person. Once yolanda was being rude to me first and said I was being petty for me being concerned about my son is when I said I would not leave the building. Now you guys robbed me for my money for 3 days I understand but the rest thats not fair. I myself called the cops not just her and made a police report about it she even told the cops she would call me by the end of the day and didn't do it simply because she doesn't want to and because the situation escalated. Now I have this as proof that supposedly the staff gave me some sort of documentation and as I stated before look at the cameras and you will see that I didn't receive anything none of those days. So as Yolanda said we will go to court. God bless all of y'all. You all need it.

Had the worst experience with this daycare today I went to pickup my kids stuff and got there and Clara was standing in front of the door didn't want me to enter saying I had to come back when yolanda was there so after going back and forth with her she called yolanda and yolanda told me I could get their stuff even still sheclara didn't want me to enter the daycare asking me to wait outside so I was like I'm not waiting outside for my children things... she treated me like I was a threat to them or something!! But what was really crazy the fact that I was standing right on side of her when the owner called her and asked her what was going on and of course she told him and he asked where I was and she told him standing by the door but for him to say "good don't let her in" really pissed me off I didn't do anything wrong y'all mad with me because of y'all negligence... it's not my fault I slip and fail and injured myself on the floor and your workers didn't have a caution sign up!!! I would never recommand anybody to this facility!!!! So now you are saying that I'm a lot head and a drunk?! Really well tell this why I didn't test positive for any of these things when I was seen at the hospital and how am I able to work in my profession drunk and high?! You are really sad and I hope you get what's coming to you
