Chili Man

Looked Chilli man up to see if he was still in business, yes!he is, missed him, he use to vend on site at my job 2 hot dogs with chilli, chips and a drink, it was awesome! too bad those days are gone. maybe I'll caught him on one of his sites.

I'm familiar with this stand since Vic used to run it. Josh is awesome and I'm super glad to see it still running. You need to check his website for his schedule. This is an awesome hot dog stand in Charlotte that needs everyones support.Food: 5/5

There's a reason why this guy's hot dog's are continually awarded and being nationally recognized! They ARE the best! It also helps that Vic is a good-hearted guy with a witty sense of humor! No hot dog joint in the city of Charlotte or anywhere can compare to a Chiliman hot dog! He often gets imitated, but no one can ever duplicate the flavor experience that a Chiliman creation brings!

Best hot dogs ever! They we're so good, I came back for a 3rd! My favorite was the NACO dog with the Carolina Reaper mustard and sliced jalapeños! I will definitely find him again and bring eneryone I know to have hot dogs!

Josh is absolutely amazing to work with! He is prompt, professional, and his hotdogs are to die for! He was a huge hit for our daughter’s birthday party—our guests all left happy, full and raving about the hotdogs! Thank you Josh for making our daughter’s birthday so special!

I heard about this place being ranked as the #1 hot dog in America so I knew I had to check it out. I came after 1pm when the lunch crowd wasn't that bad. I had a chili dog with mustard and sour kraut. It was pretty good and decent for the price. I think the title of "best hot dog" depends on personal preference, as I feel like Sabretts has a slight edge in terms of authentic NY style street dogs. However Vic's menu is super creative so I would definitely recommend this place to those who prefer a variety of unique options. The owner is very friendly and you can tell that he takes pride in delivering good street food.

I have to say those were single-handedly the two best hot dogs I've ever put in my mouth. Got to spend a little bit of time why they weren't busy actually talking to the proprietor and well not only as damn good at what he does food wise he also loves to give back so if you're ever in uptown and he's there Definitely hit it up not to mention he's definitely a part-time comedian also

Some of Best hotdogs I’ve had in a while. Very unique and well worth it. Josh was just as awesome. I will definitely be looking out for his truck again.

Had the best hot dog of my life today. The specials might make you scratch your head but they never fail to be delicious. Vic knows his stuff!

He is not there every day so check first. When he is there and the line is not too long, he has some great dog combinations, and the conversation is always interesting! My favorite is the Mar Matt Lon but also check his specials. If he's not around, weekdays you can still get a good chili dog from the Sabrett vendor on the corner of Trade and Tryon.
