Chili's Grill & Bar

My wife and I hadn't been to Chili's in quite some time. Since they've been advertising on television recently we decided to go. We had a wonderfully priced meal but the star of the show was our server whose name was Taylor she did a spectacular job and I do mean spectacular. The food was good but her service was great and we'll be back soon.

Pros - good prices for OKAY food. Cheap prices. Clean. Organized Cons - The waiter we got was awful. Very slow, didn't really talk to us. Seemed like he was use to handling bar customers. He didn't come around much, he wasn't keeping an eye on our table. We often had to flag him down or call someone else. Just super poor service. Chili's if you're reading this, put in a secret dining person who can review each of your staff and get rid of the ones that are driving down your service. I won't be back any time soon. Oh, and for Chili's sake he forgot to charge us for several items. Yes that was nice for us however I don't think it was even intentional. I think he simply wasn't trained or didn't care.

I'm usually very understanding and I don't like leaving negative reviews, but when we visited last week, our server was horrible. She didn't know how to interact with customers (was very awkward) and kept forgetting stuff we asked for. The food was okay for the price, but I definitely wouldn't go back.

So service was awesome no issue with the server. But tell why as a guest the server has to have a hard time getting some cajun seasoning on the side for my ribs minded you it's on the menu. The server comes back and says give me few more minutes cause the cook in the back is giving her a hard time about giving to me. Ridiculous I told if he giving you a hard time I'll be more than glad to go over there myself in the kitchen and get it from him see what the big deal is with this guy. If this cook is doing this to the server just imagine what else he is getting away with think it's time somebody in management sets this guys straight cause one day you will have that guest that will go back there and see what the problem is.

3 stars for Christie and her managerial skills in diffusing the situation. For that alone I'll be back food was really good! My mother enjoyed her food(mother's day) I did as well. My server was horrible but Christie handled the situation.
