Gibsons Bar & Steakhouse

So good. A must stop for lunch and dinner. Amazing patio for after work drinks. Went here for an anniversary dinner not long ago. The steak was perfect, had the Chicago Cut, so good. The Macadamia Nut Turtle Pie was so tasty. It was $16 but it was huge and amazing. We took half of it home it was so big.

I was in Oak Brook for two months and stopped at Gibson’s after work (I had been at the one downtown and knew they had great steaks). Long story short, Mike Duffy behind the bar converted me to a regular at Gibson’s! Chicago has MANY great steakhouses to try, but my boy “Duffy” made me want to come to Gibson’s a few times a week not just for the great food, but for a great time at the bar. My coworkers joined as well and we had a blast every time. Not only is he a great bartender, he is a great host, storyteller and a fantastic face for your business. You want to stay for” just one more” without being asked. What a great ambassador for your brand! I recommended that friends who visit Chicago go to Gibson’s in Oak Brook if they want to have a great time and great food. And you folks who live nearby are fortunate to have such a great place to enjoy. Business brings me to Chicago at least once a year, and I will definitely be back at Gibson’s in Oak Brook this summer. Duff-looking forward to my next Sidecar with you. Salad bro!!

If your willing to pay for it, this is the best and classiest steak house you will ever eat at. Every dish is simple yet elegant. Our waiter Trevor was knowledgeable and delightful. I will continue to bring my friends and loved ones here as I know it will always be a wonderful evening.

The food and the atmosphere was good. The only problem I had with the place was the valet. It seems like they pay more attention to the cars which they considered "luxury." That alone almost made me leave. I'm a paying customer just like the person in the "luxury" car. So I should be afforded the same respect.

The best west suburban steak house. It's easy to find other steak houses that charge Gibsons' prices, but somehow they just don't cut it. Now if Gibsons would just lose the bathroom attendant, they'd be flawless.
