Pub 47 - Huntley

Wow. This place is quite the Hidden Gem. The food is excellent the service is great from the outside it seems like a hole in the wall. Inside it's quite crowded every time I've gone but I've never had to wait long. The service is excellent everyone dressed in uniform clean and very attentive to your needs. The staff seems well trained and friendly. I got the chicken pot pie one time the French onion soup all their appetizers are excellent I highly recommend this place

It was raining the night we visited so I suspect this was one reason it wasn’t packed on a Sat night. I have never visited Pub 47 previously and I was pleasant surprised by the huge menu selection with so many choices. Basically there’s something for everyone, even the kids section. Yes this place is also a bar, but the huge layout they have made it feel more like a restaurant. I’m sure during popular sporting events the dynamics can change a little bit. There are flat screen TV’s and most seats will allow a good viewing angle. The food was good, and delivered incredibly quick, our waiter was friendly and helpful with his recommendations. My burger was cooked perfectly although the fries were a bit skimpy on quantity and frankly they were cold upon arrival. Doesn’t matter, we will still return to try other selections. Basically this joint is a local Cheers, or could be. Check em out.

I am a vegetarian and normally only get their veggie stir fry. When I went in the last time they made me my own black bean veggie tacos off the menu! Food is always great and comes out quickly. Think "classy barfood" when thinking of this place.

Pretty good service. Best clam chowder I've had but everything else was not good. To greasy. Probably won't ever go back

Been here several times and they never disappoint. We've tried appetizers, burgers, soups, sandwiches and drinks and everything has been so good. Staff is very friendly and attentive. I'm happy to have a great restaurant that offers a little bit of everything here in Huntley.
