DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME WITH THIS COMPANY!!! The person that was supposed to come out supposedly didn’t have it correct address. I had told him what the address was and he came to the incorrect house after he was already told the correct address. I spoke to him that same day and he said he would come by the following day at 12 o’clock. When I called him that day, 15 minutes after 12, he had said he would come by, I left a message and I did not hear from him the whole day. The following day he called and when I asked him what had happened he had said he chose not to come by plus he did not call prior to and say that it was his choice of not coming by.
We had an appointment scheduled for noon. Never showed. I tried calling several times and it went to a full voice-mail.
I wish I had read the reviews first. I scheduled a chimney cleaning and they were a no call no show. When I tried calling them no one answered the phone. Called again the next day, they were very apologetic, so I made another appointment. AGAIN they didn't show up and didn't bother to call. I tried calling again but never heard back. Avoid this joke of a company. If they can't even bother to show up for a simple chimney cleaning there's no way I would hire them for a larger project.
They were a complete no-show. I waited 3 hours after my appointment time and never got a phone call much less an apology. I recommend looking elsewhere for your fireplace inspection needs. This guy is not reliable.
Perfect experience from start to finish! Keith came out and gave me a very competitive bid. Tom and Dave were prompt, pleasant, and did a perfect job installing my direct vent gas stove in the living room. They made sure I was 100% happy with the stove placement before cutting the hole in the wall for the vent. They also made sure I knew how everything worked before they left - which I appreciated. They genuinely wanted to make sure I was happy with everything. Bonnie in the office was great, too!
We have been trying to get The Chimney Doctor to repair our gas fireplace for 9 months. Administrative staff are super nice, but otherwise we were unable to get any status updates at all. We thought it was a parts delay due to COVID, but it seems like that's not the case. We would not try this business again.Service: Stove & fireplace cleaning
