Really love this River there's something to do for everybody here whether you're an infant or grandparent I would recommend this River for all that love water activities and spend time in the day but lots of shade parking and different water vehicles to rent

Looking for a peaceful day with pretty good fishing, or just a lazy day on a tube.. want to sight see on a kayak.. Chipola River is a beautiful place to explore and relax. Plenty to see.

Absolutely glorious river! Many access points and the water was clear (the river was at low stage). Abundant wildlife, caves, springs and even a little rapid! Will do this float many times!
