I drove by the building a thousand times in my life and told myself I was gong to go in and check it out. A couple of years ago I finally pulled the trigger. It was one of the best decisions I have ever made.
You get the best of both words here with authentic Korean teaching and new techniques. My son and I go attend classes together most days and I couldn't ask for anything more. The teachers are fantastic and take the time to actually teach you the proper way to perform a kick, move, or form. They will also not hesitate to stay after class with you and help with a deficiency
We've taken martial arts at other places and this is by far my favorite. Are they good with kids? I have never seen a place better at teaching or dealing with all types of children. Many times I see them playing games or simply talking to kids after class. That is just one more thing that makes this place so special.

Choi's Martial Arts Acadamy has far exceeded my expectations. Master Choi and his family are the real deal. There are as many as five instructors at a time including Master Choi teaching the art to students of all ages and levels. Each students needs are met with individual instruction . My son improves with every practice. The classes push the students to the limit physically and mentally while still creating a fun learning environment. I'm so happy we are part of such a great organisation.

What I like about this place is that its staff are friendly and knowledgeable. They take the time to answer questions and work with every student to help them become better not just at Martial Arts, but to become better people as well. That is just as true for kids as it is adults I have personally seen how they have helped many students to grow on many levels. I personally have found that it is a wonderful place to train in Martial Arts.

Gratitude. That's the feeling I experience whenever I think of Choi Martial Arts Academy. Seeking an outlet for the stresses of work and life, I started attending classes at the Academy when I was 40 years old. I wasn't very athletic, strong or even coordinated but Master Choi was very supportive and helped me improve and achieve more than I would have ever imagined. I earned my black belt three years later. Then, as sometimes happens, life got in the way and I wasn't able to attend - for 10 years! Still, my experience with the Academy was so positive, it never left my heart or mind. I started attending again more than a year ago. Yes, I'm slower and older but I'm having a wonderful time. I'm grateful for the Academy and its instructors every time I walk through the door. I get to learn and sweat and just be in the moment, all while feeling that I belong. It doesn't get any better than that!

I trained at Master Choi's school for 4 years and enjoyed the experience very much. The instructors were patient and always happy to help me improve my techniques. I was in the adult class but have seen them interact with children, and they were good with kids. When kids tried a technique didn't succeed at first (quite normal, especially the first board breaking), they received help and were encouraged to keep trying. I liked the supportive environment.
