I really liked this theater! I'm a bigger gal and I fit in the seats just fine. Plenty of leg room, good popcorn. VERY NICE STAFF!! I went to see Thrust and I had pre-purchased my tickets and I thought I could just walk in. The clerk was so busy but he stuck his head out the door and very kindly checked on me and then was so nice about directing me back into the line. Talk about multi-tasking!! I will be back and often!
This is the oldest functioning Art and independent films theater. Centrally located. Classic marquee sign. Compact, very unpretentious. Excellent prices on films and snack bar. 2 levels. Some renovations could be attempted, but the charm is the legendary step back in time. Underrated, but for serious film buffs, with imagination, this cinema house is easily worth the trip.
Love this place… great staff and great prices. Screens are pretty small but not restrictively so. Plus it feels nice to support an independent small theater instead of throwing 25 bucks at some faceless chain for slightly comfier chairs.
The sound system is pretty distorted, the theater is tiny, the seats are pretty ancient, but they feature NY Shorts. And the restrooms are kinda updated and not disgusting. There is also a cute little seating area for waiting. They sell snacks, but nothing for people who don't eat grains or sugar.
I'm all for supporting an independent movie theater. It is no frills, so expect smaller theater experience and advise getting there early for seats together. Also be mindful there are stairs to navigate for bathroom. Tickets and snack bar are cheaper, which reflects the experience as it's not the latest modern state of the art comfy theater. Even so, would return to enjoy a film!
It's a older movie theater with seats from the 90s l. We went and we had the whole place to ourselves which was nice.
Super cute independent movie theater! The people working there as very nice, theater is clean, and tickets are cheap! Came here for the workers unite film festival and loved it. They also have really good pop corn. Would recommend coming here and supporting a small independent theater.
Tiny cinema but the good part, not too many people
I like this place, very cozy place to watch movies with friends
Very nice theater and nice personnel. Very interesting and thought provoking movies playing there.
