Went for a kid's birthday party and was a nice experience. Clean, plenty of lifeguards, small admission fee. Had lanes for swimming and adult walking, with the more shallow end open to everyone. Sure there are better pools for adults but with small children this will meet you need.

Average, usually not crowded. The pool heating is amazing though!

Great community pool! This is a fun place to come cool off with friends. They offer memberships and have daily rates as well.
They also offer evening specials and family nights which can get quite crowded but still fun.
Swim lessons are also available for a fee.

All purpose fields. We take our little ones here to practice soccer drills or just run around.

I decided to take my four kids to the frieda Zamba pool to let my husband work from home in peace, although we have a new above ground pool. I knew they would just be running in and out. The man at the entrance window was so helpful and I decided right away to go ahead and start filling out paperwork for the 3 month family membership. He took all of their pictures and was telling my oldest, 15yo, that he could go on ahead in while I finished but the others, 5,7 and 8yo, would need to wait as they couldn't go in the water without an 18yo in the pool with them. Immediately I decided not to proceed and just paid for the day. When we got into the water I regretted it. They had the deeper end blocked off for lap swimming and we were contained in the 3 foot side. My youngest said he wanted to leave and so I told them we'd stay for about 40 minutes and leave and to just swim laps in the shallow end. Right away the life guard blows at them and says they need to be with an 18yo guardian. I was in the middle of the pool. They were close to the ladder near the lifeguard. At that moment I decided we were leaving. We may have been in the water 15-20 minutes if that. So as we were drying off I decided I should ask for my money back. After being told no I asked to speak to the manager who was in every way being that calm, "sorry about your luck," a--. He had spoken with the lifeguard at that point as he mentioned she was only blowing at my youngest (although she was speaking to the three of them saying they needed to be with an 18yo) because he needed to be in arms length if me. It was bad enough I would constantly need to be in the water for my kids to enjoy the pool but now it's brought to my attention that I need to keep my 5yo son who swims like a fish at home in arms length? No way. At this point I really felt they should have given me the money back for no other reason then it was the decent thing to do. I have no idea how or why this place is even open? I would not be surprised at all if membership keeps decreasing. After dealing with James Hirst I have no interest in even doing the lessons I put my children on the waiting list for earlier this morning. He could have easily still gotten money from the four of my kids for the classes they offered despite the experience I had using the facilities to kick back and relax. Had he been decent and taken care of the customer by doing the right thing I would have at least felt like contributing to them. I do not feel that way now. No way I could keep my son in arms length, he at least had an approved life vest on, where my girls did not. The rules are the rules but if a customer wasn't advised and decides to leave I don't think it's unreasonable to ask for a refund. And let me tell you, James Hirst did not appear to want to keep my business. How can any place like that, run that way, stay in business? Except for not being forthright on stringent rules and then not offer refunds, that and offering a few classes. I would not recommend this pool to a family with children under 13. You are better off at home, the beach or another pool that doesn't stress you out by blowing the whistle at your kids swimming(!) to get back to your parent. Unreal.
