Staff treated my anxious 9 year-old boy with care and kindness, they were thorough and addressed all of my questions. The facility was clean, neat, and not overly crowded. The process was smooth and efficient, and we were in-and-out in less than 45 minutes, including taking and reviewing several X-rays, which exceed my exceptions considerably. Hopefully not soon, but my family will be back!
Wait time was quick 10-15 min, both doctor and staff members were kind and efficient. Quality of care, bedside manner, speed and accuracy of diagnosis all strong. The facility was clean but needs refurbishment. I value quality healthcare much more than nice facilities so I am OK with this.
I wasn’t feeling well and had a positive Covid test at home. I went to city MD on fifth Avenue and eighth Street. Staff was caring and courteous. Mr. Hutchinson PA was confident and supportive. I was so happy that I went there and receive the care I needed I hardly recommend them
I came for a physical, confirmed they took my insurance, showed them the paperwork that I required to be signed for work, and was told to check in. The receptionist double checked that they could fill it out and see me. I confirmed with another receptionist that the visit would be billed to and covered by my insurance. 45 min later, another employee called me up to tell me that the visit would actually not be covered, and that it would be $225 out of pocket, because I needed a form signed. Not sure why the first two employees I spoke with seemed to have no idea about this policy, but needless to say, this was a huge waste of time. Like many others, I also received surprise bills for covid tests that I was told would be covered. I also had a bad experience when I came here for an urgent care visit with Pelvic pain about 6 months ago. They took me in and charged an appointment just to tell me they couldn't do an ultrasound, and therefore couldn't diagnose me. They then directed me to NYU Cobble Hill. It's one thing to waste a patients time and money, but to do so when they are in writhing pain? Ugh.
The staff here are extremely compassionate. I came in concerned about an issue I have experienced for years, and, for the first time ever, I finally felt understood. I cannot thank the staff enough for their kindness, attentive care, and effort to make sure I knew the next steps to get the follow up care I need.
Had a great experience with the staff and Dr, and even though our visit included an x-ray, we were in and out quickly. The Dr is a pediatrician, had a good bedside manner, and his recommendation quickly helped my child.
I'm very happy to say that I've been going to this City MD in Park Slope for many years with various concerns when I don't feel well. Even happier to say, I'm always treated as a person, not just a patient! Courtesy, professionalism, and sincerity. It's like going to a long time family doctor.
Wait was really short, triage nurse was awesome, doctor was quick and knowledgeable. Best throat culture I have ever had to endure . Quick results and easy EHR. Front desk staff was great even though I didn’t have my physical insurance card. Everyone was sooo good when I wasn’t feeling well and that makes all the difference!
Waited 2.5 hours to be seen, they drew blood, took lab samples and said I could leave. They called me half an hour later after they were closed but left NO VOICEMAIL. Next morning I called and had to help them figure out why they called me. Turns out they called to tell me I should have seen the physician. Fast forward four days later, no test results received I called CityMd to ask where my results were. Turns out my visit was useless. Avoid this location of incompetence.
I received good treatment in a very timely manner a Thursday afternoon. Only a few people were ahead of me and I was done in about 1 hour from check-in to actually seeing the doctor. And it was a positive and reassuring diagnosis result so that helped, too!
