Clearwater Bagels

We came in to grab some bagels, my husband and I own a business locally. We were greeted by a wonderful young man and he is who checked us out. The credit card machine took awhile with my card inside and he kindly let me know my card had been declined. I let him know I had just received a notification on my phone to let me know my purchase at the bagel company and successfully been approved. I then proceeded to show him, and an older man (I’m guessing owner or manager). He responded with “we don’t take her smart phones word”. He then slammed a receipt indeont of me letting me know the last one that had been processed wasn’t mine and walked away. We decided to go ahead and pay again and grab our bagels and leave. My account has now been charged 3 times. And needless to say we will not be returning. Not due to the fact of the machine messing up, but because the supervisor handled the situation extremely terrible.

I could care less the size of the bagels. I just ate a sesame with scallion cream cheese. Crispy, crunchy, soft inside. Dark not raw. Made me feel like I’m back home. Closest you’re gonna get to a NY bagel away from home. I left there at 6:20 am with a warm bag of bagels. Good stuff I might eat another right now just because. No joke.

Best bagels around. Quality shop, you can tell they care about the product they sell. Bagels are crispy on the outside, soft perfect consistency on the inside. It's worth the trip.

Been going here for about 20 years now (since I was a little kid), and it's still just as good! It is more expensive than most other places around here but MAN is it good. Not just their bagels, but their coffee, their ruguleah... everything we've tried there has been outstanding. Their bagel dogs are out of this world, and their cream cheese flavors are always amazing.

A true Clearwater landmark been doing the same thing there since 1981 whenever I'm in town I stop and say hello great bagel dogs
