Clearwater Sporting Goods

Called them March 30th from Texas to see if they could mount a nice bass caught on a fishing trip to Texas. The lady advised how to wrap and ice the fish and bring to them and they could mount the fish by July. Had the fish in their shop April 1 and signed receipt for fish and partial payment. Noticed later the receipt stated would have completed Nov/Dec. Called in August and the same lady stated fish was mounted and drying just needed painting. I asked why the Nov/Dec on receipt and she said they should have by Oct. They called late Oct and stated may not be completed until late Dec or Jan. I advised not happy but hope the work is worth the wait and suggested I would not be back to their shop with all the different stories. She stated what was on the receipt and apologized for stating other dates but I had to go by receipt. My lesson learned not to trust verbal and find another place for my business going forward. Hopefully the work is good work.
